How loot ability stacks with others?

For example, there is three abilities. Ivara's Prowl,Atlas's Ore Gaze and Hydroid's Pilfering Swarm. We assume that the percent of all three abilities  to drop additional loot is 100. so how the ability stacks with each other, is that 1 + 100% + 100% + 100% = 4? Or 1 * (1+ 100%) * (1 + 100%) + (1 + 100%) = 8.

At each point an enemy could drop loot, the dice is rolled.

Loot abilities are split into categories based on what makes them proc.  Ivara's is while-alive. I think atlas's is on-death and so is pilfering swarm (so those 2 wouldn't even stack.)  Nekros procs on-corpse.  When 2 might try to proc simultaneously, it uses whichever is best.

wasn't there a huge community outycry over that, so DE reverted it?

or did they stealth re-nerf it once the attention died down?

there was the huge outcry over it, i to thought the change was extremely stupid. but it was never reverted.

The Wiki is right.

You just can't use Khora and Hydroid at the same time as that counts as "loot on kill"

You also can't use 4 Ivaras anymore, as only one "loot while alive" is still possible.

 

You could totally use Ivara with Ore Gaze though to get 3 drops from an enemy just with her (Steal, Petrified, Regular Kill), add the Chesa Kubrow for 4 (if RNG likes you) drops.

No.  It works.  Just every time a thing has a chance to proc, it rolls dice separately.  So it's not a simple algebra equation to predict cumulative drop chances.  But it is as the wiki says, only 1 proc per type (i.e. hydroid and khora can't both proc.)
