Not the boiler. Its the pods. When the pods hatch, they explode and deal damage if you're in range. Stasis doesn't affect the pods, only the enemies that spawn from them. If stasis affected the pods, they would never hatch and I think you can't damage the pods in any condition.

Thought the initial burst was from boiler. Will change the post.

The bug report is about infested pods that damage whoever is in the Rift.

It looks like the band-aid to make pods immune to stasis also makes them deal damage to another plane.

Pod's plane location depends on which plane the boiler was killed in. Pods spawned from a boiler that dies in the rift will damage things in the rift when they explode. Same when in the material plane. But if a pod is spawned from the material plane and it explodes, it won't hurt things in the rift and vice versa.

Its the same way how enemy bullets work. A bullet's pane state depends on which plane they were spawned from.

You do know this is a bug report, right ?

The pods will always damage things in the rift while it is outside. It's been like this for a long time.
