Dual Blades holster styles don't work with the Dark Split-Sword

Purchased holster styles do not work with the Dark Split-Sword while it is a dual blade.

I got the hip holster style specifically for this weapon because the default holster style for Dual Blades really bothers me. Unfortunately, it does not work.
