If fire rate is a thing, why can’t controller users just hold down the trigger to shoot?

If fire rate is a thing on semi auto weapons, why can’t we just hold down the trigger to shoot semi auto weapons if fire rate controls how fast we can shoot semi auto weapons.

If pc players can modify their mouse to use the wheel. Let’s us console players hold the trigger down.

It's not just a console problem, although it's easier on PC.  Anyway, DE, please:  universal, built in option(s) to hold-to-autofire.   It's friendlier to your players and better for their health.

Agreed, its a pain in the butt having to remap a mouse just to use a couple of weapons to their potential. It'd be much appreciated having an auto fire for semi autos. Even crossbows get full auto
