There should be a space and time warframe

he has a lot of small kinks, like not being able to damage blunts, arbitration drones, beacons, and more from inside a catalcysm... i'm not a fan of the "roll to enter" or the small rift it leaves behind either, makes him impractical in small spaces.

Most things that can't be damaged or interacted with are objects which as a whole don't get affected by the rift (or really any abilities).
Arbitration drones are specifically immune to abilities, so they can't enter the rift.  It's kinda their whole thing.
Roll to enter is much better than the original method of having a dedicated ability to just enter and exit the rift.
The mini rift is only a problem to others, and they can just roll to exit.  They don't even have to stop like trying to shed Volt's speed which requires you to aim and walk backwards so you can backflip.

IMHO, rolling is nice but rifts left by Limbo are bad, especially for Limbo. You could roll into your own "mini rift". You have your rolls... that's enough.

Xaku

It isn't time frame... it's just "gimmick".

Protea, Limbo or Nova?

I would add Sevagoth (Gloom - slows the time around you) and Vauban (Vector's pad moves you).

Adding Mirage/Wukong (clones) or Titania (changing size) might be little stretch.

Rolling to enter is certainly better then what it was before, but it means if you line up a shot, but forget your in the rift, there's no way to exit the rift without moving, so you need to re-line up your shot every time. I'm not saying get rid of it, just add an alternative like holding shift in place to enter or exit w/o moving.

One thing's for certain though, his casting animations need to be drastically sped up, they're soo slow that "natural talent" is borderline required on his builds, almost, if not, no other frame in the game needs that.

Stasis being basically a broken ability mechanically that not only has no downsides in and of itself, but actively removes Limbo's gameplay theme and power fantasy of being a frame with the ability to dip in and out of reality by negating the need to ever dip into reality?

Limbo is the 'master of the rift' and the whole point is that he's a tricky Warframe who effectively can divide up the battlefield with enemy control and area denial powers. But since he's invincible to everything outside the rift, and nothing inside the rift can hurt him as long as stasis is active (an ability with functionally infinite range, is completely level-agnostic, and the only drawback is negated by killing a total of six enemies per 2-cast cycle... before any mods), you have no reason to ever leave the rift, and no reason to not just plunge the whole map into the rift with Cataclysm. Effectively making Limbo just a bog-standard CC spam frame with a sepia tone on the map. Thereby removing anything that's really 'Space and Time' about him aside from flavour text.

Warframe has the fastest animations. The whole game is pretty fast.

There's literally no situation where an animation will kill you unless the player makes their own mistake.

And forgetting you're in the rift is also an individual player problem.

That's just an opinion though.

The entirety of warframe is an amalgamation of strong abilities that people only "feel" shouldn't be there.

Without limbo you'd just copy and paste a similar observation about some other frame.

Are you aware that all warframe abilities don't affect arbitration drones?

As mentioned by others, we already have multiple space and time warframes.

And we'll have more as DE comes up with new space and time ability ideas.

Just like they did with flying warframe. Zephyr was the flying warframe. Until titania as an archwing / the wasp became an even more flying warframe.

oh how i love to roll and put my rolling guard on cooldown perpetually for no reason, another reason to avoid capture pubs

I don't really see how it would be any more broken than some current top-tier frames, but Limbo is already pretty close. many times I've seen discussions on time-stopper frame concepts, so I wouldn't be surprised if DE has a very early concept frame in development (or at least an image to work with).

I don't think there would be frame like this. In fiction it sounds nice but gameplay wise it's not so easy to do. Braid is nice game about different concept of time but it's designed with "time" in mind.

Thread's a bit light on details.

Time & frame - frame wears a big watch? :D

Do I need to list 100 ways to disrupt gameplay without limbo?

Do what you want.... Limbo is Innately Disruptive By Design... The other 100 Ways are just people being intentionally Disruptive when they don't need to be....

This the distinction between bringing Slowva and Limbo to a Defense Mission....

Protea is supposed to control time with her 4th ability. (time)

With gloom subsumed, she can stop enemies from moving. (space)

Dispenser and equilibrium keeps her energy topped up.

Gloom Protea is one of the best builds for Protea currently.

I run it without Dispenser & with Energize (and P.Flow of course). It's fine.
