Do you think the Orokin would make a Warframe based on a Sentient, one of their biggest failures and mistakes? If they did, then the Orokin were really dumb. This aged poorly after the New War lmao
Tyreaus
FWIW to add on to this, I vaguely recall Varzia mentioning something about Warframes being primed, some of them poorly so. So it may be that not all Primes are Orokin, or even done during the Orokin era - some might be done more in the modern era. (It could even have something to do with the timey-wimey-ness of Relics, though the mechanism is kind of besides the point I think...)
(PSN)Chomsky_Honk_
A prime warframe simply means that it is "in its prime". Its best version. (Dont look at Umbra...) Prime warframes are typically of course, older than the normal mass produced counter part. But it isnt necessarily true that they are older I guess. Also you get the stuff from Void relics so none of it needs to make sense. Voodoo poopoo. Also Valkyr shouldn't be the same as her prime either. She gets her rage from being vivisected. But void relic peepeepoopoo game mechanic yadda yadda

This would explain Nidus, which never made sense to me to be made Prime by the Orokin. That said, it feels like the lore is all over the place and DE doesn't give a damn. In the end, what would really help with that things would be DE giving us a somewhat timeline of how long ago was the old war and orokin empire
beol
The only thing eidolonesque about revenant at all is his texture, and this will presumably be replaced with the normal orokin gold gilding for his prime. He will retain the hint of vampire from his mesmerism and life-draining, but his prime's primary theme will be precisely the same as his current main them: disco dervish. Astorias1998
En 16/6/2021 a las 5:27, ElecDeathblade dijo: Let me explain. His abilities are functional and all, but he's supposed to be themed after Eidolons and Sentients. However, 3 of his 4 abilities are better suited for a vampiric Warframe. Heck, even in the Wiki shows that one of his themes are Vampirism. Also, his backstory is that he was a warden of the Unum's tower that slayed Eidolons, then he disappears and returns, possesed by an Eidolon. Removing the Eidolon theme in his Primed version would make total sense, as it could show how he could look before getting possesed. Also, even if the Eidolon theme gets removed, Danse Macabre could still make sense, as a warrior that slayed Eidolons he could've mimic some of the Sentinet's moves as one of his own, learning from what he slays. I think that the easiest solutions is just change the name of the abilities that refer to sentients and changes some VFX of the abilities to not be as eidolon like.
