Event-Corrupted Nodes Restoration Eta Pls.

How long will the Grineer be infesting Mars until this mistake gets reverted? Silvanus seems to have been the ONLY Corpus extermination on the outpost tileset, and the only good place for testing my anti-Corpus sniper builds. Because of the event, that node is not only COMPLETELY WORTHLESS now, but there  are ZERO alternative missions I can use. The sooner this map fail is fixed, the better.

Furthermore, Olympus used to be a good place to grind, but not anymore, thanks to it now being the absolute worst kind of the endless defense missions now.

Shame on the grineer-supporting trolls for not understanding or caring about the damage they caused to everyone.

"sided with the grineer despite the lore."

Fixed

The nodes are staying how they are permanently unless another event changes them. The nodes being Grineer is not a mistake, it is the result of the event.

The mistake was making the faction of the node change when we lost them in the first place.

Ah, so you're a hypocrite then? Whoops read it wrong.

Anyways, the lore was to save the Tenno, you needed to side with the grineer. So again, BECAUSE of the lore, not despite. Just because you might not like one aspect of the lore doesn't mean you get to ignore it then.

Just the whole concept of basing permanent effects on the game on the players in the way this event was a colossolly bad idea. Like, 4Chan in online contest bad. Not only did it hurt the players who worked to to prevent the map from being ruined (by supporting Corpus), It also hurt players who couldn't even participate in the event. Mars is screwed up for EVERYONE now.

The fact still stands that Warframe is now deficient in at least one mission setup now because of all this. And it got replaced bye the faction the game needs far LESS of, even.

I disagree, having events affect the world of WF is great, it's a good way to give lore to the world, it gives players reasons to side with factions, join a clan, etc in order to try and influence the world and set up a story AND the next event.

My point is, having events affect the WF world gives a purpose to events more than just a way to get the newest shiniest exclusive (timed or not).

There's got to be a better way to make the event more meaningful than to spit on the players, though which this event pretty much was. All the negative results were tied to Grineer victory, while simultaneously making the Grineer superficially appear to be the better faction to support.

Errr, personally I don't feel the players got spat on, and there were no real negative results tied to grineer victory, unless you really hate every grineer area.
