Gamer_Auto Posted June 17, 2021 Share Posted June 17, 2021 At this point, every model of Landing Craft is a glorified skin. As such, I personally see no point to keeping it all separate. In a future update, I’d like to see models and skins be combined into one menu, and have the option to select a “random” option that picks a random skin I have. Who else would like the option? (PSN)robotwars7 Posted June 17, 2021 Share Posted June 17, 2021 one way they could make Landing Crafts more unique - and also tie railajck a little closer to the core game as well - woud be to have the Landing Craft you have equipped (and thus hooked onto your railjack, as can be seen through the skylight of your orbiter's main room) give a bonus to your Railjack for the satrt of your next railjack mission: example: Liset: Railjack starts mission with an armor increase Mantis: Railjack starts mission with a speed boost Scimitar: Railjack starts mission with increased turret damage. Xiphos: Railjack starts mission with stronger Crew (all stats) the buffs would be noticeable, but not too large so as not to shoehorn everyone into using the same craft. plus these changes wouldn't affect players outside of Railjack, so you're still free to use whichever craft for most content. You'd have to make them reasonable to get first, otherwise cue endless complaints of pay to win because the current drop rates on ship parts is roughly "ha ha, go **** yourself." (PSN)Gentleman_Raven_ Posted June 17, 2021 Share Posted June 17, 2021 I just wish the landing craft other than the Liset had better animations on the loading screen- Mantis looks like it's having spasms, Night Wave resembles a turkey, etc- like they need a more solid body with flaps/vents that open and close. I feel like the Support Functions could do that just fine.
