Fire rate does help, I would love to see the "debunk" proof.

Get a buddy with Crit Delay, you equip Speed Trigger and see for yourself OP.

the difference between each shot with 90% RoF and 36% less RoF is negligible. a difference of ~100ms. it's just not significant enough to matter in terms of damage output. the extra Crit Chance greatly increases the average damage output compared to the extra ~50ms 36% less RoF makes compared to no mods.

 

i'm not going to entertain min/max complaints that do not think about how much of an effect something has on actual performance. adding 90% RoF makes such a little difference that you're far better off having two Elementals there, or Primed / Charged Chamber, pretty much anything else would be far, far more effective. 

 

this is why i do not consider RoF to be a factor on Vectis.

That delay is actually the fire rate.

if that infact is the case, it is then justified.

The delay between the two is almost 700 ms. I'm not sure where you're getting 100 from.
