(XBOX)LadyWinterstorm
What the title says. I for one have grown to like my current crew and am disappointed to hear about Elite Crew Syndicate Operatives (and Lichs) should gain experience individually so you can upgrade their stats rather than just replace them. Let them work their way up to the top of the board from nothing, they don't deserve nothing!
Zahnny
That stacked on top of the fact we are limited to 3 slots unless we spend plat. It just encourages you to throw the old crew out.
Infirito
Dunno, seems pretty realistic to me. :P

It doesn't encourage you to ditch crew members, it encourages you to buy slots. Getting plat is easy. This is not an issue.

I don't own my Starter warframe because I sold it to free up slots for mastery ranking frames and dumping them again.

When I was MR3 I just farmed some easy to get stuff and traded for all the slots I needed.

I was just doing everything mostly by myself. So in that regard, it wasn't really a choice for me because I didn't understand a thing about trading. Well, it's not like I've entered the game with some pre-existing knowledge on the subject either, I asked in chat, looked on the forum and went from there. We now have a dedicated qna chat too, and there's plenty of guides people can find both written and video if they don't want to use chat. The game is only as difficult as you make it. And on the subject, iirc you can only use 3 crew at a time anyway, so there's no gameplay insentive to get more. If you want to collect crew it's essentially the same as getting cosmetics, it makes no difference on the gameplay.
Drasiel
I really dislike the disposable nature of the crew. Mechanically they are no different than a gun so a lot of people won't understand this frustration but immersion wise it feels like I am buying slaves and then dumping them out the airlock when a better slave comes around. The characters have personality and dialogue and wander around your railjack muttering to themselves, I really like the effort that went them but with how the system works I can't get attached to them when a new model is right around the corner :(
(NSW)Greybones
I’ll probably just stick with my old crew and leave the better ones for those Tenno who come later. They may not be the best, the brightest, the most powerful, but they are…. …hrmm 🤔 what I’ve got?
CarrotSalad
The crew has about as much value and bonding potential as our pets. So yea totally we should be able to develop their talents enough that they dont turn into disposable trash when a new one comes along.
