So the Prisma Machete is Just Machete Wraith But Worse?

Baro is here once again, and he brings with him the Prisma Machete! Exciting, but upon comparing the stats it's honestly a bit of a letdown. It's a direct upgrade from the OG Machete, same or better in all stats. But the Prisma is DOA (downgrade on arrival) because all its stats are same or worse than the Machete Wraith. And while I get that the Prisma has a lower MR requirement than the Wraith, it's disappointing that these two weapons, acquired from the same source, are just direct progression of weaker-vs-stronger and offer no variation in play.

I'd really like it if the Machete series mirrored the Gorgon series in terms of performance -- the variants are stronger than the original, but the Prisma and Wraith have diversified stat spreads that allow different play styles to build from the variant weapons. (In Gorgon's case, Prisma has better Crit and Wraith has better Status.) Even if it turns out that one variant is overall stronger than the other after builds and mods are considered, it's still more interesting and customization-incentivizing than one weapon completely invalidating the other as an option.

Yeah, that unfortuante. I was looking forward to it, because prisma weapons are usually very great in their right but watching just ALL stats being red... That was depressing.
