Losing ability to use main menu and mission stats at random during missions

Some times during a mission, I randomly completely lose ability to access both Main Menu and Mission Statistic. Trying to use menu or status keys result in nothing.

"permanent" status menu invoked through "P" by default is affected, while "hold to show" menu on "TAB" shows as usual.

This makes impossible to invite people, access options or abort a mission through normal means.
