How slash procs is calculated question

Ok so basically I know that slash procs damage is affected by

1 base damage mods

2 crit damage

3 crit chance

4 faction damage mods

(And viral makes slash procs deal more damage but let's exclude it from this equation)

My question is of the above 4 which matter the most and which matter the least in enhancing the damage of the slash procs? Preferably in order

So first: Crit chance and Crit Damage should be counted as the same thing for the purposes of tiering. Critting itself doesn't have an inherent benefit without a critical multiplier, and crit multiplier doesn't mean anything if you can't crit.

That said - Base damage is the most important, as the other two scale off of it (they both are factored in after base damage). From there, it's weapon dependent - if you have a very high crit multiplier/chance, it may outpace faction damage, but if not, faction damage is the better option (mind that faction damage will double dip, it applies on the actual hit itself and then applies again to the slash proc's damage.) The difference between these two theoreticals is if you have a decent crit weapon, you can apply both crit stats and faction damage, but if you don't have good base crit stats, you will just run faction damage. Faction damage applies *last*, meaning it should be treated as a total damage multiplier, not a base damage multiplier.

Thanks man that makes alot of sense. So it mostly Depends on weapon base stats+ faction mods are pretty much mandatory (for pure slash build) if I already have high base +crit c/d
