I must've zoomed with the scanner while switching weapons or something like that, as now the trails are permanently in the level. The first image shows a second trail while zoomed with the scanner (the left trail is the permanent one, while the right trail is produced by the scanner). The bottom image is the same position without zooming, and the middle image is the permanent trail up close. This bug occurred maybe just 5 minutes ago in the mission, and I was running solo. EDIT: I have managed to reproduce this bug. Holding down zoom with the scanner and using the hotkey to switch will cause the trail to linger.https://imgur.com/a/EftOtaJ I have duplicated the trail multiple times in this corridor.
