Changing Weapons Automatically After Being Staggered

This happened a few times today. While I was using my secondary (Brakk), if I was staggered by an enemy, my weapon changes to the primary (I'm leveling Vectis and Paris today).

Happens to me also, you beat me to posting this.

 

It only happens to me when I am at 0 ammo and get staggered before the reload animation begins. It's pretty annoying cause I go to fire my Brakk thinking it's reloaded only to find out it's my other gun...
