New Hound Magnetic Precept Error??

I mainly run just with my husband if I team up anyone so it makes detecting issues that involve others a tad easier to pin point. The first time my husband ran his new sister hound we were suddenly noticing that I was losing my Rhino Iron Skin WAY to often compare to the same missions as we hunted for our next sister. So slowly he pulled off the precept mods and found that the one for the magnetic shield is effecting allies! It's not the enemy hounds as we saw this happening just with normal enemies but where his hound activated that specific blow aura magnetic shield and sure enough as soon as it did my shield was nullified. Is this suppose to be the idea? Are we suppose to expect to be harming our allies? Friends or random team mates?
