Kestrel is the smallest bird of prey in my country's fauna. Size doesn't matter though - this small creature is strong and brave hunter with sharp claws and beak. This name was chosen to fit our mascot and our sacral mentor - we named the clan after kestrel's ringing battle cry and Teralyst's night songs. Our dojo was... well, just a common dojo - some decorations here and there, some trees here and there - until we've got unusual energy spike in the reactor chain on the lowest floor. This changed everything for us. Stable rift leading to unknown mysterious dimension opened in one of reactor rooms, and strange plants and creatures invaded halls and rooms occupying them one by one. Some of these guests from outer dimension are mighty and dangerous, but we couldn't just kill them. None of us met such beautiful and majestic life forms before. We decided to try and let them live in our home with us. This wasn't easy - delivering rocks and soil from different planets to create comfortable biomes took pretty much time and effort. We regret nothing though. Harmony of flourishing life in our dojo definitely worth it. These life forms have strange abilities and use strange energy - it resembles our Void power somehow, but isn't totally similar to it. Is this the thing from ancient fairy tales called "magic"? Analysing the structure of the rift in our reactor chain and several anomalies in the other rooms (including the transporter moved to different dimension spontaneously) gave us the opportunity to create permanent transporter connections leading to new unknown worlds and explore them. The number of places available for visiting is growing - as well as the amount of data we're getting. Our latest find - almost Earth-like world - was used to keep one of Eidolons from the Plains safe. I found this ancient creature during one of my Eidolon hunt missions. He isn't aggressive at all and didn't even try to attack me. I contacted my clan leader, we discussed this unusual encounter and decided to catch the creature and move him to safety of our dojo to avoid him being killed by the hunters roaming around the Plains. Even the largest halls in dojo were too small for Eidolon keeping though, so... we found a nice and safe dimension for him. Creatures living in this place chose to ignore our Eidolon - as well as he ignores them, - and he seems to be happy here... I'll preface my submission by saying that the screenshots do NOT do the dojo justice. There's a lot of attention to detail not captured in the screenshots. My dojo design was intended to be simple yet elegant, without all the clutter you see in so many other dojos. The dojo is fairly extensive for only being a Ghost clan, but here's a sampling of screenshots for reference. Entry Hall Intended to be the first thing you see when coming into the dojo, but I've since moved the warp in point to the Great Hall to be closer to the Hearth where the trade kiosk is located. Entryway Intended as entrance security. Great Hall The hub of clan activity, including the location of our Ascension Altar. Hearth Both the vault and trade kiosk are located here. Zen Garden Tranquility in its purest form. Hall of Memory All Cephalon fragments (Codex entries) for each planet are on display here, aligned with corresponding Ayatan sculptures. Museum Various curios, oddities, and a Sentient Worship Gem are on display (don't worry, it's safely contained). Maintenance Bay Located off our Dry Dock. There is a central elevator that will take you to whichever floor you need to go and with smaller floors its easier to not get lost. It was very difficult to chose which images to upload, but i feel we've chosen the images that help describe our dojo best. there are many fine and intricate details that i could not share via images but would still love for you to see. in our vault room we have a reactor decorated to look like the money pool that Scrooge McDuck loves to swim in, you can even climb up to the second level and jump in. Our Museum has many wonderful exhibits of some of the environments you can encounter in the origin system such as Cambion Drift, Orb Vallis, and Plains of Eidolon. The museum is named in honor of my great uncle, who loved science and designed parts of the Lunar Module from the Apollo missions. Another feature that makes our dojo unique is then many of our reactor rooms are incorporated into the dojo as decorative elements. I am happy to finally have the dojo in a state where it is presentable enough to be entered in this contest as every time a contest came around previous I felt that many of the rooms were not close enough to how I envisioned them and did not get a chance to submit.
