Leqesai
Kuva Zarr by a country mile. Honestly not even a competition between these two weapons.

Quimoth
Kuva and Tenet weapons outclass all non-primed weapons by several miles. The elemental bonus might not be super high or on a bad element but they would still be way better.
iHeuksal
I am enjoying Bubonico more than Kuva Zarr. The reload on Zarr is kinda wonky, the damage cluster after the initial explosion is kinda messy and will fail to deliver. It also relies heavily upon proccing slash procs via Hunter Munition. My Bub doesn't care about slash proccing. Bubonico one shots a Lv 180 / Lv 130SP Gunner/Bombard enemy within a single shot (starting from the second kill, partially and fully Galv-Buffed) can proc insane amounts of status elements + multiple elements at once with a single alt-fire. All these without Hunter Munition and a Primed <Faction> mod.

"Does that too", it does not. Having 2 similar results doesn't mean the approach is the same. Kuva Zarr is HM and faction mod dependent, that is a fact. Kuva Zarr is HM and faction mod dependent You only need HM and Primed Firestorm for the Zarr to blow up the entire room on any normal mission Steel Path content, faction mods are never needed in this game outside extreme endurance runs. Ultimately though, we use the weapons we have the most fun with. It's Warframe.

Loving that, if people are claiming to "one shot the entire room" without even showing any proof of that whatsoever. Kuva Zarr isn't performing anywhere near this example in my clip without faction mods. You should get to know how they actually work. They are golden for slash procs to trigger and raise to a value where you are starting to "1 shot an entire room" within an acceptable fast tick-range. The Zarr is way underperforming, if you are just there for pure damage like on a Bubonico. OP, decide for yourself. Tested: Bramma, Kuva Zarr, Bubonico (two builds, without a primed bane mod, one with HM, the other one with a speed mod instead).

A Bramma or even a Sporelacer is doing a better job in this regard (latter one not even requiring any kind of slash proc nor faction mod to 1 shot lv 180 gunner testdummies). And I am not talking about enemies lv 30 or such. More like decent testing environments of lv180-185 in the simulacrum or equal levels during mission. Zarr is not able to 1 shot, even with all galvs being fully procced. vvv to the replier down below This has been shown already with the clip above, that the Kuva Zarr is not best single trigger pull weapon. 0_The_F00l
The question is incomplete or is misplaced. The best single trigger pull effects would be with k zarr , assuming you have a proper bonus effect. Which take out most enemies in range (especially if you build with HM) , it's barrage mode will also most definitely take out whatever you aim it at. The bubonico has a lot of qol going for it , as you don't need to worry about ammo or reload and has innate viral so you can build for much more versatile builds. Build for a decent amount of fire rate (above 6) and it will dish out similar ttk and area coverage to the k zarr (especially considering the galvanized mods for Multishot , damage and flight speed) The question is whether you prefer one big boom /shot, or multiple medium sized booms /shots as the ttk between them is rather similar.
