Activate the buff. then attack a status inflicted enemy and see that the damage increase will only be 10% of the value listed in the mod description. (PSN)Matt3974 Posted September 8, 2021 Share Posted September 8, 2021 as stated in the titles the 3 galvanized status mods still don't give the proper damage increase on weapons that are projectile based instead of hitscan, tested with a 120% status chance bolter prime with 30% crit chance to compare yellow damage numbers with 4 status effects on level 85 infested chargers due to them not having armor and are still easy to kill with no damage mods other than some elemental ones to add some extra status effects (impact, puncture, cold and radiation) it gets 507 damage with 4 status on crit with a fully upgraded galvanized aptitude with both stacks and 867 with serration even though galvanized aptitude should be giving way more damage by how it should be 320% vs 165%. this same test appears to be the case for most projectile weapons still on console making these mods pointless on several weapons until it is fixed. rainy Posted September 9, 2021 Share Posted September 9, 2021 Please note that Kuva and Tenet melee weapons, as well as melee explosions (glaives) also suffer from this on the traditional Condition Overload mod. You'll find some guns are overcounting as well, such as catchmoon secondary. They incorrectly multiply +damage mods instead of adding with them. It works fine on the direct hit though. Shedu direct hit does 71 heat damage, and Infested (the health type) has a +25% bonus to heat. You can see I do 89 damage, which is expected (71 x 1.25 = 88.75) When I have 2 stacks of Galvanized Aptitude (+80% dam per status), you can see that I do 160 damage, which is expected. 71 x 1.25 x (1 + 0.8) = 159.75 As for Mutalist Cernos, 20 hours ago, (XBOX)TheWayOfWisdom said: Mutalist Cernos: Scales off of 10 base dam. In simulacrum against lvl 100 Corrupted Heavy gunner, without any damage or power mod (just having pistol amp on all tests) I do 31 damage. With "augur pact" (90% damage) I do 38 With "hornet strike" (220% damage) I do 48 BUT with "Galvanized shot" at 2 kills and 3 status on the target (2*3*40% = 240% damage) I do 39 (to have consistency all damage are at the smallest view angle, where the damage are at the highest and non crit damage) I don't know if this is due to the complex mesa damage calculation or the "Galvanized shot" bug.
