PSN Nidus Prime & Plague Star: Hotfix #1

PSN Nidus Prime & Plague Star: Hotfix #1

Changes:

  • Removed the Ghoulsaw from Conclave eligibility.

Fixes:

  • Fixed the Transmission that plays when an Ally Kuva Lich/Sister spawns not actually showing the correct Adversary for Clients. This also could result in a big spot-load.
  • Fixed missing up/down arrows to show Helminths appetites.
  • Fixed Nidus Prime’s body appearing incomplete when applied to the Mastery Rank 30 Blessing Relay statue.
  • Fixed Nidus Prime missing half his body when mounted in a Railjack Turret.
  • Fixed seeing double swords in Revenant Mephisto diorama.
  • Fixed numerous script errors when encountering the Jordas Golem.
  • Fixed a script error when casting Nidus’ Ravenous with Insatiable Augment equipped.
  • Fixed script error when an Infested Leaper dies mid-leap.
  • Fixed script error when Grineer Powerfists die during the cast animation of their ground pound.
  • Fixed script error that could occur if a Sentient enemy was killed during its arm-regeneration animation.

Missed Change note:
Sentients taking Status Effects is now intentional. In preparation for The New War, we’ve been looking into polishing up and tweaking Sentients in general; this includes the new glowing visual effects on some of them that you may have noticed!

Sentients don’t only adapt, they may even evolve as well...

Previously, Sentients adapting to your damage types could have led to fights drawing out just a little too long at all levels of gameplay. This change allows it so that you don’t need to rely solely on high Critical Chance / Critical Damage weapons to take them out. Time to break out the Stug!

I see that my sweet sweet Lavos did not receive my expressly shipped Thermos of tears to fill his barren juice jars. Perhaps liquid physics is not in the cards for PS4. What if they were filled with something else? A PS4 exclusive feature if you will. Here are some other suggestions for the team, free of charge.

  • Fireflies (or just one. I know the ps4 is old)
  • A series of additional and increasingly smaller empty flasks
  • Tiny Lavos noggles
  • Borrowed eyeballs from Nidus' deluxe skin
  • Some red text
  • The Pfizer vaccine
  • Tiny railjacks (as in: ship in a bottle)
  • The vast and empty void of the human condition
  • Jelly beans

These are just a few examples of flask-fillers. I'm full (the opposite of the condition of Lavos' vials on PS4) of ideas. You're quite welcome.

Such a simple request, and still we’re in 8 months in and counting since Lavos’ release on PS4 with very little communication on what was regarded as ‘a key visual feature for Lavos’ still being completely missing, as well as the syandana (yeah that thing that requires platinum to purchase) is also plagued by the same issue.

I’d prefer jelly beans (coz look at my IGN) or tiny rail jacks floating about, hitting the walls of the vials, also add some liquid and make it float to make it look more like a ship. We also need a railjack decoration for orbiter.

LMAO Duke you kill me - the team is having another closer look. Sorry for the delay on this, Lavos will have his vials filled in due time.

Please let it be jelly beans.

I have good news... The issue has been fixed! BUT it is a code change which will require Cert. But his vials will be filled (with liquid as intended, no jelly beans, sorry Duke) in the next Cert build!

We have a fix coming that will address this for all controller players.

Will you guys be working on the Operation: Plague Star bugs/glitches currently happening?

Could you be more specific?

Can we get the Nidus tennogen prime details "fix" reverted? It just broke all his fashion in general. He no longer shows any mutation stacks on any tennogen at all and most players liked the amount of prime details shown on the toggle because that's what the toggle is for. The "fix" broke a lot of his body too with prime details shown, really just the exact opposite of what we want overall.

The Update Czar of Sony just emailed me back and said it's "totes cool" if you guys skip cert on this one. They said it was part of the new policy that anything involving shoulder-goo is considered an emergency and can go straight to the live game. I'm quoting them here: "tell 'em to send that arm jelly via express train to playstationtown." I guess that means go ahead.

So, anyway, this news delights me in a way that makes me concerned about my priorities. Thank you from the bottom of my empty vials.
