Nidus Prime & Plague Star: Hotfix 30.7.2  

 

Sister Hound / Weapon / Lich Weapon Foundry “Selling” Functionality:

If you’ve engaged in the Adversary hunts with Kuva Liches and Sisters of Parvos, your Foundry might be suffering from some unavoidable clutter. The amount of Hounds and weapons sitting in your Foundry have grown to not only take up room in your list but also within the database itself!

 

To alleviate this clutter, you can now Sell a Hound and/or Adversary weapon directly from your Foundry without having to claim the item and use a Slot, granting yourself some Credits! Get cleaning up your (H)Foundry. Ordis’ orders!

 

Known issue: The button to sell your Hound or weapon will not work if you are using a Controller to use the Foundry

 

Changes:

  • Added the ability for Yareli to perform Merulina’s new Dashing movement when using a Controller (default: tap LB).

    • Crouch/Slide/Roll binding on LB

      • Hold = grind/twist

      • Tap = dash

    • Sprint/Roll on LB

      • Hold = Sprint

      • Tap = dash

 

Fixes:

  • Fixed several rare crashes that could occur when running DirectX 12 on a slower machine.

  • Fixed an extremely precise Loki Switch Teleport on the Plague Star Escort Drone resulting in ability to skip most of the third Bounty stage wherein players were sending the Drone off-navigation into a Sniper Tower as an exploit.

  • Fixed Melee Ground Slams not traveling to targeted spot due to being affected by gravity.

  • Fixed becoming unarmed after mounting and flying the Ropalolyst into the generator.

  • Fixed Weapons stolen by the Drahk Master cannot be recovered.

  • Fixed Revenant Mephisto Skin materials not appearing wet in the rain ;) .

  • Fixed Sargas Ruk's Health becoming vulnerable at incorrect moments.

  • Fixed Operator motion blur problems.

  • Fixed line breaks not happening where spaces are used in languages that don't typically use spaces.

  • Fixed Crafting finish sound not playing when triggered close together.

 

Missed Change note:

Sentients taking Status Effects is now intentional. In preparation for The New War, we’ve been looking into polishing up and tweaking Sentients in general; this includes the new glowing visual effects on some of them that you may have noticed!

Sentients don’t only adapt, they may even evolve as well...

Previously, Sentients adapting to your damage types could have led to fights drawing out just a little too long at all levels of gameplay. This change allows it so that you don’t need to rely solely on high Critical Chance / Critical Damage weapons to take them out. Time to break out the Stug!

Any chance Yareli could get 90% damage reduction on Merulina, like Nezha's Warding Halo? Ideally with a damage absorption period as well.

Edit to clarify why 75% isn't enough:
If Yareli and Nezha both take 100 damage, with their respective defense active, Yareli takes 25 while Nezha takes 10. (With their respective defense ability taking the rest.) Through this, we can see that Yareli takes 2.5 times the damage Nezha takes, which is a lot. Versus a frame with 95% damage reduction, she takes 5 times the amount, which is A LOT. As is obvious, Merulina needs at least 90% damage reduction to be on par with your average tanking skill.

Now i can finally go back to farming Sisters. The Hounds was what prevented me spending time with them since they load up your Foundry while farming and you can only claim them and sell them manually since i already maxed out my Hounds. This change was needed.

so how does this impact obtaining the hound specific mods since we only get those from getting a hound with the various parts and we cant see what parts a hound is made from without claming it?

Nidus Prime Parts being toggled on and not displaying the new tendrils not fixed. None of the tennogen skins had the tendrils with prime parts toggled on. To further add to Nidus' Skin problems, not even his Immortal Skin mutates. 

In fact, all of them were broke except the Kuvael Scrounger skin.

What I mean by this, even with prime parts toggled on, it showed the skin, but no animation occurred on the tennogen skins EXCEPT Kuvael Scrounger, but it was the old animation with the parts opening up and not the new one.

https://imgur.com/gallery/qhCAAoB  -  Image of proof, indicating the mutation is on with the Kuvael Scrounger Helmet opened and looking as amazing as it normally is, but his body is doing absolutely nothing.

My apologies for bringing this up again, but this seems very prevalent for the newest prime frame to release and yet the details for fashion are absolutely not working.

If it is intentional that Nidus Skins (including his Immortal one) are not supposed to mutate with the prime details on (or off in the case of the immortal skin), please let us know, since it seems slightly out of place or almost unintentional.

I'm sorry WTF!  you expect us to follow a slow ass drone for 800+ meters.

Even if it had 90% DR I would find it useless, I think it hinders more than it helps, the movement is weird, you're limited to secondary (by normal means). I chose to switch to airburst because of the augment and have more CC.

this is NOT a fix. this is a nerf. and i'm so done with you trying to sweep things under the rug. reverse this. right now, and stop trying to take away power from the players.  aight everyone, time to make it scorched earth so they reverse this debilitating decision!!! wouldn't be the first time we burn DE enough for them to reverse something stupid. ( Hello lootframes. )
