Two Orokin boys lived with their father, a renowned Dax, training to become powerful warriors. A saying was pounded into their head “Emotion leads to hesitation, hesitation is defeat”. They were constantly told that they should never feel any compassion for an enemy, that it will only show weakness.

The older brother would use a Two-handed Nikana and a long-bow while sparring, often showing he was a better fighter than his younger brother. His younger brother would often use tricks to gain the upper hand which brought banter between them about honor within a fight. Their father would usually dispute that one must do everything to win, that they only carry honor within serving the Orokin empire.

The younger brother eventually stopped idolizing his father but instead his older brother whom quickly surpassed many Dax’s in fighting prowess. Eventually the brothers learned that their father had a secret, that he planned on stealing the kuva scepter and escape the Orokin empire. He was executed, preventing either child becoming a Dax due to suspicion. The Orokin empire didn’t waste either of the children’s talents, making them both soldiers. They used the younger brothers abilities to take out important enemies directly while the older brother became greatly renowned on the battlefield, eventually doing joint missions with the Dax.

Then came in the disaster, an escort mission went horribly wrong and was reported that many Dax along with the escort were killed by a dangerous individual. They sent the younger brother to kill the individual responsible only for him to arrive on a scene with everyone dead but one individual. Many of the Dax’s bodies were either precisely hit with an arrow or cleaved in two. The escort, whom was decapitated, was the one who decided the execution of their father.

There his brother waited, covered in blood, surrounded by the dead. The younger one hesitated to draw his sword until his brother told him “remember, hesitation is defeat. Let one of us die with honor”. Then the clashing of steal commenced, a battle of focus and precision. Soon he found out that he still could not surpass his brother, even with tricks, until right before a vital blow he hesitated and stopped his sword.

The younger brother used the advantage stabbing him right into the stomach, he didn’t plunge the sword all the way through and his hands quivered. His older brother grasped his brothers hands and deepened the sword. He stared into his brother’s life drained from his eyes. His humanity died that day with his brother for after that he felt no remorse. Even when he eventually expired, they reused him to make an ultimate assassin that would become the patron saint of Scoria.
