Abandoning and returning to Cetus after finishing the first Plague Star bounty doesn't count towards completion to unlock the other bounties.

The title explains it all. The first bounty you can do for Plague Star that unlocks the rest of them and gives you 1k OS reputation will not unlock the rest of the available bounties if you abort the mission and return to Cetus. I'm not sure if this is able to be abused or not, as the first bounty is effortless and can be completed mostly AFK but on the other hand it seems like other bounties are more efficient time-wise. Either way, this is most likely a bug.

nope, it isn't each bounty in plains and orb vallis have phases if you complete the phase and go out through cetus/fortuna you still get the rewards from p1/p2/p3

That's ... not how it works, there's no "unlocking" or anything.

You choose the (one) Plague Star Bounty, you do the phases of it in order, without leaving the Plains, ending with the Hemocyte battle.
