I did not recognize a pattern in the apparition of this bug. Solo or in group, any hound in the mission can become unkillable / un-mercy-able, Sister rank 1 to 3 (not played rank 4 and above recently so can't say) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I couldn't mercy the hound, because I killed it too fast/ I killed it right when it went into the animation of splitting up into 3 smaller hounds. Try waiting until it has split up (if that's the hound you had) to kill it. If that wasn't the hound you had, I have no idea.
