You got players grinding into burnout, the poor padding based design, the literal copy-paste structure of it, encourages leeches, and it only being tolerated for the Forma. It seriously needs a massive rework or to be scrapped entirely.

I try not to do more than a few runs at a time with at least a few hours in between, and I don't do it every day. Not getting a whole lot of forma but I buy most of mine, I just like to get extra to justify using on non primes that will be wasted once the prime comes out.

It's probably a good thing plague star isn't the most fun mission to repeat because then people would have less motivation to buy forma. At least with how tedious repeating it is, a lot of people still wont bother farming out as much forma as possible and would likely ending up buying some.

Trick is to disconnect from the game mentally.

Listen to an audio book, watch TV on an external monitor and so on, anything that moves your attention away.

 

Then for the actual gameplay you add meaning to it by adding layers of objectives, for example take the time to level an archwing or gather map specific resources, relics or whatever.

There's players grinding into burnout on many games. 

There's leeches on every game.

Actually....all that stuff is on every game. Guess the entire industry needs to be scrapped.

I guess since this is the first time I've been around for it. I'm honestly enjoying the event. It helps the necramechs are perfect for this event. Wipes out the fodder easily and does well against the  Hemocyte.

Also I'm enjoying getting more usage out of Wormhole thanks to this event. 

Also people grinding this till their eyes bleed is nothing new. People always overdue it when it comes to events and new content. I'd rather not get rid of this event because some people can't control themselves. It's a fun.

i only do it once or twice every day, 1.5 to 2 forma a day is enough for me.

its not that bad if you optimize it, get someone to speed up the drone, have someone speed up the walking animation of the hemocyte, use a weapon that can 1 cycle it, pyranna prime w max merciless and max arcane velocity lets me kill each head with only one animation from each.

Or just do pubs and mindlessly run it while watching something else, how I do the index farm with equinox semi afk set up.

Same thing here. I'll get a few unique items, but I am not going to sit there and spam something I don't enjoy just for rewards. I gotta enjoy it too.

True, but it's still uncofirmed by now, since they added those items due the plague star absence, I wish they add it there again on halloween tho

Probably. I probably won't even bother. The Ghoul Saw I don't care about the stats, it just looks fun to mess around with. Beyond that doing the same Cetus bounty followed by killing some lephantis stage 2 clones is just awful.

I don't understand this community sometimes, give them a mission with a definite worthy reward after 10 or so mintues, not driven by RNG, relying only on your patience and preparation and some still spit on it. 

Just can't satisfy everyone no matter what.

What worthy reward? The common forma reward from opening almsot any relic? Situational arcanes? A new shiny toy to play around? "Rare" resources that you can mine or find killing thumpers?

Naberus offered almost the same, but with the liberty of doing any bounty you wanted to do, since it only used the regular rep from Entrati syndicate,... Naberus is better than Plague Star and the only "missing" item it's a freaking forma.

Bought the saw with a login coupon and the stance from trade chat.  Haven't touched it once and probably won't.  I need the forma but building one a day and buying packs when needed is better than going in there lol.

Plague Star is grab this thing followed by mobile defense, then a long, long escort, then a "boss battle" against Lephantis with a palette change. I am pretty sure the Hemocyte is so slow at attacking that it couldn't even hit fast enough to break through shield gating and kill you and exists only to try and create artificial difficulty. It's not about the rewards, Forma is nice but the event is almost like a "worst of" compilation of Warframe gameplay ideas.

Obviously it's worthy to some people. 

If anything, it's perfectly balanced. Rewards are good enough for those that like the event, but not important enough that you'll miss out by skipping it

Like they say someone's garbage might be someone else treasure. I never shy away from pre-built forma. I got so mush forma last time around and I still ran out of it. I don;t think it is so hard to understand that the game plays around how much forma you have.

Artificial difficulty? The whole game is built on artificial difficulty that it has none actually. Tell me what other worthy game mode you like that can produce a built forma in a few minutes besides playing the market?  I don't care really what you like doing or not, you just pick those you can gain something from or leave it be.

Prebuilt forma, not forma bp that you get from relics. As a professional lazy person, I value not having to remember to login every day and start a new forma build.

You're right, this game is largely devoid of difficulty. Introducing a harmless mob that only exists to be a bullet sponge is not a good way to try and create some, however.

No other game mode offers forma that fast, and I literally don't care. An event should maybe be fun or at least tolerable for a while.

The gameplay is poor enough that I'm literally disincentivized from caring about the Forma and am sort of almost more aware now of how ugly Warframe's focus on grind over gameplay can be.

I think that the game does't play around on how many forma do you have tho, unless you think the game revolves on putting +5 forma on every piece of gear that can have them.

While important, it's overrated as hell when this event comes around. I can count with one hand the times I've paid for some forma to finish a critical build I didn't had to run some important content in the past. I just stop using forma when I run out and use my fav gear till I have 20 + forma againand start the process of leveling and testing stuff.

As a professional lazy you should know that warframe app for smartphones exist with full foundry compatibility. It can even alert you (by default you can deactivate notifications) when somehting is finished, so you don't even have to keep it mind, just taping 3 - 5 times a day your phone when it alerts you will solve this... 

B+ut since we are in the "I WANT IT AND I WANT IT NOW" mindset era, I'm not even surprised on why someone that hates the event will farm it till being burnt out. I've known some cases of players that run this event, ended up burnt and then came again on the next plague star event to repeat the same cycle...

... The Boil should spawn Hemocytes like it spawns regular Infesteds, and spawn regular Infesteds with 40x the intensity and the amount... This isn't enough to feed Grendel...

I don't know how people run such an incredibly boring mission over and over again.

I'm stockpiling forma for the last of the Tenet melee weapons and any future surprises, getting forma from relics suck with my RNG.

I don't get leechers in solo, except one mate, which I don't mind, I do 99.9% of PS solo, it's quicker than joining a pub squad, well the few I've been in. 

I find doing solo runs means I can control the environment and my system seems to work.

Yes I suck at wormhole placement.

If DE keeps releasing weapons like kuva and tenet then yes forma won't be enough.
