Energy regen

Is there a reason why cant every frame, mech cant have a small base energy regen?
Maybe a small number like 0.4 per second or 0.04 per warframe rank.

Not sure why? Abilities are “Judge the right time to use, and use sparingly”. If you’re going off youtube videos or something, where players are constantly casting abilities, players in those situations have played towards reward options that let them do so as they choose

edit: Whoops, I forgot to mention that there’s the “Energy Siphon” aura mod that provides like 0.6 energy regen/s for Warframes (not sure if it works for Mechs)

Yes, the reason is : that is what the devs have decided. Either work toward and invest into energy generation and management tools, or refreign from spamming.
