Since there are skins with corpus and grinear would it be possible there will be any chance for future update we can do stealth missions where we pretend to be on their side (ex. Spy, sabatage, missions where we work with them)

I'm not seeing number separators on damage numbers on Switch either.

Update 30.9.0 is slated to launch simultaneously Thursday, November 11th on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch! Without question, The New War is our biggest priority for 2021 and is in full development swing. But just before The New War comes Update 30.9.0! It is largely Quality of Life and Bug fixes, with a groundwork for a Prime Vault style event that we alluded to in a prior Devstream. This will be the last Update before The New War (Emergency Hotfixes not withstanding).

  • Mastery Rank impacts how many abilities are unlocked by default on Forma use.
    • For instance, a Mastery Rank 10 player would have all abilities unlocked, albeit not at their full strength! 

 

New Warframe Augments (Max Rank Stats)

Trinity - Champion’s Blessing (Blessing Augment)
Gain Primary and Secondary Critical Chance for 12s for each percent you heal on allies up to 350%. 

Lavos - Swift Bite (Ophidian Bite Augment)
Reduce Ability cooldowns by 4s when at least 4 enemies are hit. Ophidian Bite is granted 30% additional Ability Range.

Xaku - Vampiric Grasp (Grasp Of Lohk Augment)
When a stolen weapon deals damage to an enemy affected by The Lost: Gaze or The Vast Untime, Xaku heals by 25. 

Xaku - The Relentless Lost (The Lost Augment)
Casting The Lost increases Ability Strength for The Lost by 35%. The bonus can stack up to 3x and resets if you can cast the same ability twice.

Nyx Ability Changes:

Mind Control
The thinking behind these changes are fueled by the amount of investment towards this single Target, and having that pay off more in your favor. 

  • Base 500 percent Damage increase to the Target itself that you then feed into with your weapons DPS. 
  • Increased base Duration to 45 seconds at maximum rank.
  • Mind Controlled Target now teleports to keep up! This acts similar to other allies (Wukong’s twin, etc).

Psychic Bolts
While this change is minor and provides more of a visual cue, the goal here was to provide a better presentation / feedback when Psychic Bolts connect with a Target. 

  • Added a minor one-time stagger to targets bit by Psychic Bolts. 

Absorb

  • Increased base Range to 15m at max rank.
  • Scaling Range is now capped at 50m (solving for an exploit), ensuring Damage is balanced by Energy Capacity.
  • Nyx’s Assimilate Augment now allows you to roll, similar to Mesa’s Waltz!
  • Nyx’s Absorb stat screen now shows max explosion radius value.
  • Absorbs additive weapon damage bonus now applies to the player's equipped Melee weapon.
  • Minor tweak to the GPU particles to clean them up!

A special time-limited scheduled Event for Prime Vault will also follow the release of this Update! Information to come. 


PLATFORM SPECIFIC NOTES 

NINTENDO SWITCH:

Nintendo Switch Remaster & Texture Compression Changes 

A big change is coming to Nintendo Switch - we have upgraded the texture compression settings to benefit from some major size reduction gains. After the remaster, Warframe on Nintendo Switch will go from 25 GB to ~12 GB! Which means that Warframe will fall under the base memory allowance and can be downloaded without the need of an additional memory card (and no other games). 

You may have seen us announce Warframe Mobile at Tennocon 2021 - as this continues to develop, we have been able to apply some major texture optimization wins and technology from our Mobile learnings to our Nintendo Switch version of Warframe!  Seeing as this is a pretty massive change to the platform, and while we are testing as much as we possibly can, we will absolutely be on the lookout for your reports on any texture issues you encounter once it goes live. 

Over the course of Warframe’s 3 years on the Nintendo Switch, we have done many remasters to help reduce the overall size of the game on the platform. From overarching optimizations done on initial launch, to the cache cleanup with the launch of Fortuna, to the recent Soft Shader Remaster with the Sisters of Parvos update, making Warframe run as efficiently as possible is always something we strive for when developing Updates for the Switch. The Switch team has worked tirelessly over these past years to make several optimizations, size reductions, and more. We’ll continue to streamline as we continue mobile development and hopefully glean further optimizations.   

Please note that once the update is live, the download size will appear larger (11 GB) than the update’s actual total size. This is due to the remastering process touching on everything in the game, so it will take longer than a traditional download to apply the remaster and update content. However, once it is complete, the update’s total size will only be ~120 MB . Prepare for the update by making sure you have at least 11 GB free on your Switch in order for the download and its remaster portion to begin once it is live.

Tennogen Nintendo Switch Bundle Xi

Nintendo Switch Changes + Fixes:

  • Made performance improvements in the Cambian Drift Bounties, especially the Latrox Une/Garv Bounty stages.  
  • Optimized loading times. 
  • Optimized shader preprocessing for Switch.

XBOX: 

  • The update will be ~2.5 GB on Xbox!
  • Added the Lumis Oculus by lukinu_u.

PLAYSTATION:

  • The update will be ~2 GB on PS4 and ~2.3 GB on PS5 (size variations are to be expected based on the ways in which the different systems operate). 
  • Added the Lumis Oculus by lukinu_u.

Controller Specific Fixes: 

  • Fixed the X/Square/Y button not working in the Railjack Crew Management screen while using a controller. 
  • Fixed switching to Steel Path mode in the Star Chart causing the UI to swift and overlap with other UI elements while using a controller. 
  • Fixed a functionality loss when using the controller D-Pad while viewing a completed Quest diorama.
  • Fixed not moving down in Archwing when pressing LB/L1/L Button on the controller while holding the Tranq Rifle.

And many other code fixes from previous PC hotfixes that required a Cert build: 

  • Fixed missing End of Mission stats if enemies are killed with Yareli’s Abilities while riding Merulina.
  • Made improvements to the Kuva Lich/Sister showdown cinematic:
  • Added music befitting a showdown! 
  • Fixed the cinematic being silent.
  • Fixed ability to manipulate the camera during the cinematic.
  • Fixed animation popping during the cinematic.
  • Fixed the Kuva Lich and Sister Vanquish animation not playing correctly, where it would turn the Lich/Sister invisible or fall through the floor during the animation.
  • Fixed missing Client Parazon Mercy animations on Grineer Thralls.
  • Added Orokin Ciphers and Omega Isotopes as a feeding option to the Helminth, which will grant Bile.
  • Added Cryptographic ALU as a feeding option to the Helminth, which will grant Synthetics.
  • The ‘Converted Adversaries’ menu will now auto open when starting a Trade in the Crimson Branch instead of having to click through the tabs.
  • Fixed the Cedo, Cyanex and Akarius causing a parried reaction (knock back) versus certain enemies.
  • Fixed the Mission Extraction waypoint sometimes turning red in Exterminate missions
  • Fixed Nidus Tennogen Skins showing too many Prime body parts with Prime Details enabled.
  • Fixed sometimes not getting Bounty rewards (Standing) after a Host migration. 
  • Fixed Mission Timers on sequential missions not starting at 0. 
  • Fixed an issue that could allow Primary Weapon use on Merulina.
  • Fixed overly slow Bullet Jump landing recovery if the animation is interrupted. 
  • Fixed Clients seeing open weak spots on Sargas Ruk but deal 0 damage after initially dealing some damage.
  • Fixed cases where the final stage of the Profit-Taker fight was unreachable, thus not awarding the Bounty rewards. 
     

Why can’t you upscale the domestik drones ;-; This is a serious bug as this could interfere with the cleanliness of our orbiter.

PS4 archwing controls have been messed up in this update. 'Move up' is now combined with aim in the overall controller settings, which makes it impossible to aim while in archwing. Why couldn't we have separate controls for archwing, or at least have them mirror Railjack? L2 is aim everywhere but Archwing now. It makes no sense.

Looks like this is yet another change that has carried over into Conclave (the bolded damage increase).

Edit: Might even be that people also get teleported around, but I have no clip to show that (yet).

I'm on ps4 and I can see the options for numeric separators, however still despite messing with my options, it still doesn't work as intended, all I want is commas for thousands and such like all the pc players can *so frustrating*
