The New War: Spoiler Courtesy!

I still find it Vague....

Obviously you need a Mech and Railjack to qualify.... But exactly how far into you both those Progressions do you need to be to practically complete the Quest ?

Can you do it without Mods or Plating ? Perhaps Zero Forma...? 

Or maybe it needs to be Fully Formad with Max Instrinsics plus Jugulus Rex mods....?

DE hasn't been clear on that specific part...

That should be at the user discretion, sicne every user have different playstyles. Some people will go with basic stuff, others will bring their best gear... It's not something that DE needs to clarify on any way. In the worst case scenario, if you "loose" or are killed in the quest, then yo do it again until you succeed, like every other cinematic quest.

The fact that you find this not to be an issue is cause for Concern.... 🤔

why it should be an issue? There is no right way to do content here and I went blind into every cinematic quest, second dream when I was noob, TWW when I had an average understanding of the game and TS when I was more deep into it. All experiences were different and I went with very different loadouts and I don't regret it, those quest could be done with any piece of equipment, even if with the most basic sutff took just a little longer.

I'm confident on the fact that if DE is making us pick a "permanent" loadout on the quest, it's because it can be done with almost everything at our disposal, they've never forced a meta for those quest and I know they are interested on making this experience equially good for everyone who meets the pre-requisites to being able to do the quest, that includes people like me with deep understanding of the game mechanics and "new" players as well.

I'll put my hands in the fire on this and know that I won't get burned :)

Someone spoiled the end of "The Sacrifice" for me during one of the Devs Twitch Streams in chat. My experience then wasn't as thrilling as it should be, and couldn't help but to think WHY ON EARTH I caught up on that message. 

I'm a bit more relieved now with this post, at least it shouldn't be on forums or in-game chat. My mech may still require some spicing up after all... And people PLEASE, beware of Twitch 😅

Lucky you, no one ever wanted to do iso vaults on the server I'm on, had to buy mine in the store. ...if I didn't have that 6 plat before getting the 370 plat I needed, I still wouldn't of had enough (seriously DE, 370 plat option when a necramech is 375 plat. make one the same as the other dammit!)

So basically you're looking at Exclusively from a perspective that doesn't factor in player engagement ? 🤨

Dear Dev Team.

I'm planning to write a small research for my college assignment. This is to study about Ludonarrative, how game elements and narrative manage to meld together. I chose New War quest because i've seen gameplay trailer in Tennocon and it looks very promising (Gameplay as Grineer, Corpus and Teshin to give fresh perspective).

The research focuses on how gameplay, graphics, audio, and plot inside a game truly achives the state of art (Game as a storytelling medium)

The survey will be given in Google forms, with SPOILER warning as it asks players opinion on their quest' experience.

That is, if given permission. Results will be given around a month or two after survey (Faster if i reach target respondents). Ofc, the results also have spoiler warning.
