Why Can't I Make An Obstacle Course?

Read the title. It's not available when choosing a new room.

Do you have enough room for it? Check to the left and right of where you plan to put the Obstacle Course. Because it is a really big room.

 

If there's nothing to the left and right that you think would be blocking it then I don't know. I have the same issue where I put an elevator going down and when I go down I want to place an Obstacle Course, but it won't let me. I assumed that the Obstacle Course is too tall to fit or something but I still have never figured out the true answer.

It's a massive room, it usually needs to be the last room in a direction to fit, it's also very tall, can be blocked by rooms on other floors.

It goes down a ways as well make sure you don't a structure under where you want to build it , this was my trouble and now i have now hair on my head pulled it all out trying to find a good place to build it ,
