The New War: Hotfix 31.0.5

 

Changes:

  • Polished numerous animations in The New War Quest. 

 

Fixes:

  • Fixed a progression stopper in the finale of The New War Quest.

    • To resolve this we had to backout a previous fix (will revisit for a proper fix):

      • Fixed ability to carry Data Masses and your Primary weapon at the same time - you should switch to your Secondary as intended now. 

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when mission loading goes bad in Open Worlds.

  • Fixed inability to complete the Mastery Rank 24 Test if you had a certain post-New War thing equipped. 

  • Fixed some black screens occurring during The New War Quest. 

  • Fixed inability to cycle the Profit Taker's current Shield vulnerability with the Sirocco. 

  • Fixed Harrow Prime not giving weapon passive bonus (additional shot in the magazine) to the Knell/Knell Prime.

  • Fixed Knell Prime not displaying correctly when Dual Wielding.

  • Fixed a New War Captura Scene doing unintentional damage to the Operator. 

  • Fixed a “table” clipping issue when skipping a cinematic in The New War Quest. 

  • Fixed for missing atmospheric FX in the Orb Vallis during The New War Quest.

  • Fixed a floating texture in the post-New War Plains.  

  • Fixed a script error when using a Specter.

several plains of eidolons challenges are broken after new war. Nightwave challenge "fish 6 rare fish in plains" does not progress as well as several rivens that have plains of eidolon as their opening condition. Would be great if you could fix it before holidays.

Control F

Profit Taker leg regen (at least another profit taker bug was fixed so that was nice)

Akarius explosion fx as client defaulting to default color instead of energy color

Disappearing weapon bug (cast dispensary followed by discharge in quick succession, you cannot reload or hold the weapon if done successfully)

0 results. Can I please at least get some attention that these bugs are actively being worked on?

there is still the relays and open world hubs that goes into frequent freezes in relatively constant rate ever since the first hotfix. a few seconds of freezing, then smooth a few seconds, then freezing again. ever since the first hotfix of the update :( 

also, more buff to big sentient daddy Caliban :c his 3 sentient buddies need help, give him batalist friends!

Excellent! Does this take care of the Death Knell infinite ammo bug too?

PLEASE! This causes knell to be pretty worthless in almost any actual mission since you accidentally trigger it once and it makes the gun genuinely unusable!
