Maybe just consider each as a token worth ONE RELIC of your choice ? it's literally replacing the usual "un/vaulted" relic drops/rewards, it's not hindering you in any way... if you want the "random" part back, go see the NPC dealing in aya and type "relic", then close you eyes and pick one at random, then pick a random number from 1-9, open your eyes and get that amount... rinse and repeat til you're out of aya...
