Got a weird white overlay with sell items and DE_Marcus's name ominously hoovering at the top of the screen

I just opened the game today to do the last fewllevels for nightwave.  But since of the white overlays i can't move.  I can teleport by using the start menu but that's about it.

I have solved it by reinstalling the game.
