The Interim Return of Prime Vault

In traditional Prime Vault fashion, packs will be available through the in-game Market (and stores on Consoles) and Vault Relics will be added to the Drop Tables. More details on specifics to come! 

Varzia’s Post-Event Wares

Varzia still resides in Maroo’s Bazaar with a selection of wares. You may choose to purchase the items listed below from her shop with the remaining Aya or Regal Aya you may have:

Since these Warframe’s Relics are permanently unvaulted and obtainable via gameplay, it only made sense for the rest of their collection to remain available through Varzia. Prime Resurgence brought a lot of ‘firsts’ for Vaulted content, so we’re continuing that trend with the inclusion of Prime Accessories outside of the event and traditional Prime Vaults. 

During this interim time we will not be adding any new items to Varzia’s shop - since Aya and Regal Aya are no longer obtainable there should be no item gatekeeping for players who do not have any stock leftover. 

Next Steps: Aya & Regal Aya

A hotfix will be going out on all platforms tomorrow, January 25th to replace Aya with the Nyx Prime and Rhino Prime Relics in the Drop Tables. Regal Aya packs will also be retired at the time that the event comes to a close.* 

• *For our Nintendo Switch Tenno, those packs will still be in the Nintendo eShop until January 27th (due to Nintendo store rotation scheduling). Any Regal Aya purchases made post-event can still be used in Varzia's shop keeping in mind that the items available for purchase will have switched over to her new setup as disclosed above. 

If you choose, any remaining Aya/Regal Aya can be used in Varzia’s post-event shop (as listed above) or can be held onto for potential future Prime Vault efforts. While the future of Prime Resurgence is still being determined, priority in any instance will be to provide options that appropriately meets player expectations for premium purchases. 

It is worth reiterating before we sign off, that the nature of Prime Resurgence was wholly experimental. We wanted to give players an alternative to Prime Vault and ultimately increase access to Prime gear, and that required much risk consideration and community contribution in the early stages and launch of the event to get right. So thank you for continuing to be an integral part of the development process and success of endeavors such as these. We’ll check back in with you for tomorrow’s Hotfix!

Hey,

I didn't see a crucial bit of feedback anywhere in here:

If you run this event again (as I am guessing you might in some form) please consider adding a room to Maroo's—akin to the one in the basement of the other relays—where people can queue missions from. One of the big griefs I saw was people having to drop group to buy a relic then organize getting re-invited and just slowing things down with loading into maroo's and back. Since you don't know how many relics it takes to get the thing you want this would allow folks to snag one, run a rotation and repeat a lot more smoothly.

You already have this as a room in other relays and the dojo, so I figure it may not be too terrible of an ask.

Additionally:

As a new player (since Sept) I really appreciated this event. I mixed Aya and regal aya to get the stuff I wanted. In the future I would really appreciate the ability to snag specific cosmetic packs for warframes, in case I already traded for the primes so I wouldn't have to buy the whole 6-raya set.

Well, this event really helped me fill the gaps in my prime frames and get a few sought after weapons, such as the primed glaive.

Now that I have all of the prime frames and the prime mods I can graduate to veteran status and take up post of complaining about the game lacking content.

As a long time player, this "event" did nothing for me except upset me. I have bought every single full tier prime access, including grand master founder pack, since the beginning. The only things I even needed with the regal aya were the Frost and Mag prime noggles and the syandana. Which meant if I wanted them, I would have had to pay whatever the middle tier of regal aya cost. Which those two noggles should not have been something to buy in the first place. All other prime noggles have been given out if you had bought that prime access pack. While I understand Frost and Mag never had a prime access pack, then they should have been given out to anyone who had crafted them (and throw in maxed them to 30 if you want.) I can do without the syandana and I am, in fact, doing without the noggles as well. I cannot justify paying what would have been around $26 CAD after taxes (Thanks GoC...) for the two in game noggles. I don't care about the plat. I don't need the plat. It was a massive "FU" to players who have been supporting this company for the better part of a decade.

Disappointed that Aya is being removed entirely. There is some pretty cool gets that are 10 Aya and I'm not sure this event will return in the future. BF has been playing almost as long as the game has been going and there are many events that have never returned. So it is of concern. At least make Aya a grindable rare drop.

So...what about prime noggles for players who purchased prime resurgence packs?

I know there's a post saying prime noggles for 2021 have been sent to eligible players, and I'm kinda surprised that players who purchased prime resurgence packs didn't get the corresponding prime noggles.

Although some people have said that prime noggles are "unexpected gifts" to players who purchase prime access packs, I'd rather wait and buy prime vault packs if I knew I wouldn't get prime noggles. The reason is simple: the 15 regal aya pack is already less competitive compared to a prime vault dual pack in terms of pricing, and now free prime noggles have been taken away.

Please consider sending prime noggles to players who purchased prime resurgence packs.

In mmy optinion the event was an great alternative for the Vaulting. But yeah to farm Aya was sometime a little bit crap and if u had a bad streak like me you cant get many relics. But the Idea behind this concept was absolutly great. I've already read something like put more Relics to Baro for more Items to choose every two weeks. My Idea was it to say baro ahd the same amount of Items but more Relics that can be appear and maybe not a complete set, to make the rarity visible. And something i would think wouldbe an intresting thing is to say that Varzia could random Appear with an special collection. Maybe it could be a great idea.

Maybe its just a hope but i think with "small"(depends on the dimension u think off) changes u can improve the gameplay. 
And for the next time maybe a higher dropchance or more Mission where u could get Aya. More Missions had Plaquestar improved too. So its just monotone and sometimes slow down the gameplay.

 

But i've seen in the Update "The New War: Hotfix 31.0.11" that Novas Wormhole had a little change "Nova's Worm Hole can now act as a one-way teleport for ally NPCs." and thats a good message xD

I missed VoltP's week in Prime Resurgence, but I still had leftover Aya when Resurgence was ending, so I spent it on relics I didn't want rather than let it go to waste. Only now you're telling me I could have kept the Aya and gotten VoltP relics after Resurgence?! 🤬

And no, I don't consider the relics' very infrequent appearance in Baro's stock to be "obtainable via gameplay".

Nyx and rhino is replaced through bounties not at Varzia. And Yes its for those with left over aya.  Everything was also posted in original event thread.

Can't find any original post, but I recall them saying Rhino and Nyx would be available through Varzia. It's no big deal since I have them, but just wanted to be sure everything is as intended.

Still missing some relics in the offers by Varzia though. As far as I can tell there's not enough Odonata Prime and Volt Prime relics there.

The two relics there haves all parts for Volt Prime. And the relics posted in Varzia Shop is Nyx and Valkyr. Everything is as intended. Just visted shop to make sure.

While prime resurgence was basically pointless for me because I had all the prime items already and there was literally 2 items for aya if you didn't need relics, it did, imo, show that there could be a better system for players getting relics. 

I have so many relics sitting in inventory, gained from farming for the ones I don't have, that I'm basically never going to have enough time to work my way through them all.  Every time a new prime frame/weapon comes out we end up needing to farm new relics meaning often as not we get even more relics to add to the pile of unused ones. 

Having seen the convenience of buying the exact relics you want, after farming a universal but specific currency, I'd like to see a change from farming relics to just farming aya and buying the exact relic(s) you want.  Ideally I'd like to see prime items converted into something we can just buy with aya but I doubt that will happen so the idea of making getting the exact relic seems a bit more viable. 

Now I'm not suggesting all relics are 1 aya because DE will still want to get people to buy prime packs but we could have a higher price (in aya) for the most recent one or two prime releases and then all older ones could be a lower value.  Obviously some maths by DE would need to be done to work out a fair balance for the conversion. 

 

 

Other than that I didn't agree with noggles being regal aya and felt considering they were 'freebies' in the past they could have been used as an item you could buy with aya, even if limited to just one for aya and any more would be a regal aya purchase. 

I also felt value of the aya to ducats conversion needed to be at least 15 ducats to match the minimum value of a reward from cracking a relic, it was just poor value. 

If prime resurgence comes back there's going to need to be more items than just relics for aya if it's going in the reward table, hell even if it's just things like forma, exilus adapters, potatoes, kuva bundles etc, the sort of things you get in events/nightwave because as it stands now there's literally no reason, other than for trade, for long term players to get aya.

As somebody who went on a multi-year hiatus in 2018, when I left the game everybody and their mother was using Limbo Prime as I believe he just came out. I paid his Prime Access and then came back to the game the week before New War, right in the middle of resurgence. I excitedly jumped at the chance to complete my collection and oh boy did I ever.

48 frames in existence, 34 of which are primed.

I have 2 jobs at $20 each, you're welcome for all the Regal I plopped DE, you're welcome for my wallet. I bought every single pack, either during its week or during last chance and then used the Plat to also trade BP sets. I now have every single Prime Frame, counting Umbra as 34/34 since I'm non founder. Next will be the Prime Weapons. From now on, I just have to do Prime Access to stay up to date. But as a returning player, thank you DE for this event, it let me bolster the collection and then complete it through the dual packs (R-Aya) or trading for non-resurgence, still vaulted primes through the plat gained from the Aya packs.

The resurgence event was highly successful for this individual player, now in my personal Warframe goals I just have to collect the Prime Weapons as I work on my mastery :)

New War was awesome btw, curious to see what's next in lore/story.

Personally didn't get to partake in the resurgence because after spending weeks farming bounties, I didn't get even One aya drop. This was wonderful on paper with the access to the vaulted content, but my god could it have been executed better with aya being added to other drop tables, or even just a flat rate increase above the supposed ~5%.
