Popular Post [DE]SpaceySarah
It’s a new year and Warframe Community Streams are changing! In 2013, we began our streams with a once-a-week Prime Time slot and, over time, added three console streams to the mix. While there have been advantages to these separate streams, it’s important to us to create one unified rallying point for our community in 2022. Introducing: The 2-Hour Warframe Prime Time every Thursday from 6-8 p.m. ET. This 2-Hour Prime Time will include an expanded schedule with longer gameplay, highlights of the week, more community involvement, and interchanging stream hosts. This new schedule of one stream per week will include content for all Tenno, no matter the platform. “What about Drops?” you may ask. Twitch Drops will still occur every week during Prime Time. With the extended time, viewers will be able to receive one Twitch Drop per hour. There will also be a greater focus on certainty around Drops as a whole - fewer grab bags, more favored single items. Warframe Creators will be hosted during the previous Community Stream time slots (without Drops). Keep an eye out for these hosts at the following times: Mondays 1 p.m. ET - 3 p.m. ET Tuesdays 4 p.m. ET - 6 p.m. ET Wednesdays 10 a.m. ET - 12 p.m. ET Devstreams will continue to occur in typical fashion - monthly Warframe updates right from the devs! After nearly two years of working-from-home streams and with new developments coming this year (cross-play/cross-save!), it’s time for something new! While we understand this is a change, we are excited about creating one place where all viewers can gather together. Thank you for being a part of our streaming journey. We hope to see you at our first 2-Hour Prime Time on Thursday, February 3rd from 6-8 PM ET!

TheLexiConArtist
More constructive Twitch drops is good. Cross-play is still a terrible mistake though. X-Save yes, X-Play no. Console gets bugs, PC gets throttled releases, you can't update anyone until everything is certified to go or there's behavioural mismatch.
kyori
Previously was 4 days an hour each with 30mins for each drop, so viewers can get all the 5 drops. Now there is only 2 hours with 1 hour for each drop meaning only 2 drops viewers can get. So if there are 5 items in the week's drop then viewers confirm no chance to get all the 5 items. Something like that I guess... EDIT: I remember previously there was different drops for each day (not grab bags).. ah so long ago... fuzzy memory... (PSN)The_Verethragna
Sad to see the old schedule go because it's been a part of my life for so many years, but Change is neither good nor bad. Change is Change.

ShadowDrache
I like that we can get propably higher quality streams with that but i am still a lil sad that we get a lower quantity in twitch drops

Hopefully the wording of "more favored single items" Means that the rewards will actually be good and worth it. Like how we got the braton vandal weapon parts as a drop a while back instead of the resources we have been getting a lot of in the grab bags as of lately. If this works out I am okay with only getting one (or a couple more if devstream) drop per week. Edited January 25, 2022 by XHADgaming

Fiendir
Love the idea of unifying all the different platforms to one community stream, but the times chosen for this? Basically ensures not many in EU with a day job will be able to watch these steams. While it was fine every once in a while before, I just can't see myself staying up until 03:00 on a Thursday for a stream every week. Pretty bummed that this is the case to be honest. An idea could be to rotate the time slot every other week or so, let international Tenno have some of their Prime Time too?

Why not have drops during the hosted streams? I think it would be a low cost way to increase engagement with no downsides. It doesn't even have to be valuable drops, it could just be decoration or floof grab bags.
(NSW)Romumap
Not gonna lie, I'll miss A LOT the mon-wed streams, but I know that if the team decided this is the best for the community, then it's the right choice. I'll be looking forward for the first Prime Time of 2022 🙌🏻
Merrcenary
cool now I don't have to waste my time watching this especially when it's live at 1am
(NSW)AlbaDicentra
I personally believed the varied time slots and days was to allow those in different time zones a chance at catching a stream, now there’s really no other option at getting drops or participating in a live stream for those who 6-8pm EST on Thursday doesn’t work for.
MMXKarl
This is awful. The Thursday slot is in the middle of the night. With it going longer, that just means that just more of my night. So I can't participate at all unless I want to skip work the next day. The previous system was so good for people all over the world as people could pick different times according to their schedules. Now it's specically catered to Americans while international players get left out of drops and communty streams.
VetkinMalzar
So, better drops but they will be pretty much impossible to get in Europe. Great idea! Up till now that was the worst timeslot to get the drops and now it will be the only one...
j6cubic
Will there be a non-Twitch way of earning these drops for people in different timezones? Otherwise, this sends a signal that international players are not considered relevant by DE. I'm fairly certain that's not what you want to say but it is what you're saying.
(XBOX)Darkskytzo
After nearly two years of working-from-home streams and with new developments coming this year (cross-play/cross-save!), Here's my question on this crossplay, i have a moon clan on xbox and a ghost clan on playstation w/ alliances and the same clan names and alliance names. Will they be able to stay the same or will i need to change one? Can members from pc join clans on xbox and psn and vice versa? Are we gonna see a set market price? If all platforms can trade from each other. never played a game before with cross save/cross play so not sure how it really works.
XHADgaming
7 minutes ago, Mavoron said: way to f over basically everyone outside the americas Even for the Americas it is still a very weird timing with how the timezones span the US. For west coast (PST) folks it is from 3-5 PM so it isn't even prime time and actually the in the 9-5 work week. It is weird to have an event called "prime time" but only be prime time in a handful of timezones.
(PSN)RuTweN
It’s a great change overal but might aswel consider removing the drops to keep it balanced or change the schedule so that everyone can atend.F the players from Europe
