PC PSA: Missing 2FA Emails (Resolved)

Hello PC Tenno, 

We are aware that certain players are experiencing issues receiving 2FA confirmation emails when attempted - we have contacted our mailing partners and are keeping tabs on progress as they work on a solution. We will update you here once we have more to share and when you’re in the clear to attempt again.

6:15 PM ET Edit: A fix has been implemented by our mailing partners, you may now attempt again. Keep in mind that if you have already requested a verification email, that it may take some time for another to come in.

yeah, when i activated my 2FA, i never received anything. no difference to how i log in. makes me feel uneasy.

So basically i cant play the game till they solve the issue? Hope i wont lose my account tho invested lot of time and money in it..

Still having issues with this as of 9:52 PM EST. I used Yahoo as a provider when signing up and recently returned to the game after a 2 year hiatus. My yahoo account was disabled due to inactivity, which I don't know if that could have something to do with my issue, but I figure I should add that bit in. I sat there waiting for the code for about 10 minutes before giving up, trying to change my email, and then realizing that you need a code for that too. I have a support ticket currently open about this, but I do not think this issue is resolved. Maybe become far more managed, but it's certainly not resolved.

Unable to login to the website with my email, just says "PLEASE USE A VALID EMAIL TO LOGIN".

I still have cookies saved for the forum which is why I'm still logged in here, but unable to claim the Amazon Prime item as I can't login to the main site.

 

I can't use the Zendesk Support since I have to login... which then goes back to the above message.

 

Can login to the game without issue.

How about the idea of switching from email code 2FA to the much more common method via OTP (e.g. in an OTP app)?

Like the majority of all website or game providers already do?

As you can see in some listings warframe is almost alone with only email verification.

Sure, it's better than nothing, but then you wouldn't have to rely so heavily on the permanent e-mail service. 😅

I have to disagree on this topic being resolved.

I'm using a run-of-the-mill gmail account, and I can't log in, as the verification email isn't arriving...

You may want to have another look at the issue.

As Blazehoof has said, this is still an issue. I am also using a gmail account and can't get a code sent to me. Wanted to log in for the event.

Edit: After trying again after restarting the computer and the game twice, I got a slew of codes.

Definitely experiencing the same issue myself. Was working fine a couple of hours ago but no 2FA emails since then. Can't log in at all 😩.

I'm having issues as well. Not a single email is getting through, I am regretting activating 2fa at all, because now I can't even play. I'm assuming it's congestion on the email people's side.

I just managed to fix one problem in time for this issue to affect me. I haven't recieved the 2FA code email when I try to login, but I did get the automated support reply to a different issue.

I'm currently having this issue, it says a verification code has been sent but I'm not receiving anything. I've also checked junk/spam. However i have been able to receive the automated reply from support asking me to run a diagnostic... 

 

Edit: After waiting an hour and trying to log in again the verification email was able to come through.

My buddy had the same issue, says it was resolved via contacting support but it took quite some time.

Just tried logging in yesterday and today, having the same issue, support request sent.

*Edit* The very next day I was able to login, seemingly bypassing 2FA. I'm not sure if I'm cool with this, I'll keep my ticket open.

Mates having the same problem again, time of my post, no email sent.

Is DE able to use google authenticator as well for people with phones, would make it more secure than Email.

We could have a couple of 2FA choices for players to use.

I've never had a problem with it so far but I see a lot of players and the mate has changed computers and same thing has happened to him again.

Update He still has not received the 2FA email and is unable to play Saturday 14th May.

I had forgotten my password and had requested a reset and I instantly got an email. Unfortunately I still need a code to play the game again and I have not received any.

I too am having the same issue. Other email types come instantly, no verification code to get into the game.
