Area_Of_Effect
I just thought it would be nice if there was a way to opt out of Wisp's Speed buff just like we do with Volt. If I'm making a standalone build and not using a wisp, if I suddenly get hit with.. idk.. +50% Melee attack speed, weapon fire-rate and movement speed(or more), it's really disorienting and cartoonishly ruins the experience. Keep in mind, that's +50% on top of the build you were already satisfied with - the loadout you already fine-tuned to your liking. I wanted to know if anyone else shared the same sentiment. Just remembering a mission where I couldn't tap the fire button without immediately firing 3 shots from my primary instead of one. Was worse on my secondary. Even ran out of ammo halfway through the mission (didn't have to worry about ammo normally so didn't have a carrier or ammo transmutation), had to use an ammo pad.
gamingchair1121
if i wanted the speed buff why would i put shred on my soma prime? only way to counter it as of now is set your fire to mouse wheel up or down but then it lowers your fire rate smh
(PSN)Unstar
The speed of things in Warframe is a very interesting design space, perhaps the only one where you can really have too much of a good thing. I wonder if DE should consider making a setting that each player can set to cap the speed modifiers that can be applied to them, so that a player never ends up buffed out of their comfort zone? It's surely more complex than this, as different loadouts probably would want different settings, but it's an interesting problem to have.
