Cannot Play Open World Bounties In a Squad

Hi, I am playing on the Xbox Series X, and am getting a matchmaking problem every time I try load into a bounty on any open world planet. When I select a bounty and walk through the door to start it, I am put into a Squad on my own and any squad members are told the host has disbanded the group. If I try invite any players while in the bounty I get the message saying "This mission is being played offline. Other players cannot be invited". I can play in open world areas by inviting players to a Squad from the orbiter and then taking the squad directly there, but doing it this way limits the bounties I can complete on planets like Deimos. Just to make sure, my squad is set to public and that hasn't changed anything. I've tried entering alone and the same message is popping up. Any workarounds to this at all? I cannot farm Deimos efficiently at all with my girlfriend if we cannot do high level bounties together. Thank You.
