The reason Warframe had one was because DE were at their lowest point when they started with Warframe. The Founders Program was basically a specialised way for people to help fund/kickstart Warframe. DE certainly doesn't need to repeat Excalibur Prime (or any gear with fundamental character progression behind it), but they will probably have a way for players to kickstart interest and revenue for the project. I believe they were refunded. I know one of my Warframe friends (no longer plays :/) got a hat from [DE]Drew for being an Amazing Eternals Founder at TennoCon 2019 as I believe they were discarding some hats from the office. It's a shame because Overwatch is made by the same company that makes Diablo Immortal... and they're making an Overwatch 2 that maybe no one really wants or asked for. And if you're an Overwatch player and you don't want Overwatch 2... well, tough, you're going to get Overwatch 2. Amazing Eternals could have been an alternative game from a more reputable company (DE) if they hadn't abandoned it. Poor marketing from 2K/Gearbox completely killed Battleborn and its playerbase when the game had a way more interesting take on "hero shooter" with borderlands style pve gear to use in PvP and using more MOBA style elements. It's an additional revenue source even when it's not 'needed' and it's uncommon for games, especially when they're 'free to play', to not sell them. There's a puzzle on the page, which opens up the email / name reservation sign up. Besides some more art, I don't know of anything else at the moment. (XBOX)Cram Duahcim Posted July 18, 2022 Share Posted July 18, 2022 My hope for Soulframe is that they get the updates coordinated with Warframe so they don't overlap and flow in between eachother. That way you can bounce in between each game and they would flow together vs compete with eachother. It might be difficult to do if one game or the other has to delay an update but if they can do it.
