Hey! Missing a Warframe and don't know how to get it? Wondering which Primes are unvaulted? My goal with this guide is to clear up that confusion as of Wisp Prime's release.

Tip: Use 'CTRL+F' and type what Warframe you are looking for to immediately jump to that section!

INFORMATION
Spoiler

This is a quick information tab, so you know what's going on in this guide.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Total Grind:
A number from one to five, about how hard it may be to get this frame. This includes materials, time, prerequisites, and the acquisition of the parts. This rating excludes the Circuit. Please note that there is often chance, which some people can get lucky with while others don't.

1 = Almost free, like Excalibur or Nezha.

2 = Easy, like Rhino or Valkyr.

3 = Medium, like Gara or Mirage.

4 = Hard, like Gauss or Grendel.

5 = Grind to get, like Harrow or Octavia.

Prerequisites:

This is what you have to do before you can even try to get the frame.
For example, it will show a quest or a planet you need to have unlocked.

Acquisition:

This is how you get the Warframe. It includes the place it drops, percent chance, and what quest you may have to do.

Displayed here will show if the Warframe is available from the Circuit in Duviri or not.

Tips:

These are tips on how to acquire the Warframe. Place to try? Items to equip? etc...

History:

The year the Warframe released.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's it! Every Warframe will have a tab like what was above. The last tab in this guide is about Primes. It shows every unvaulted Prime, what's in access, what's next to vault, and even what the next Primed Warframe and weapons will be.

This guide is also on Steam, if you'd rather look at it there.

Don't forget you can use 'CTRL+F' and type what Warframe you are looking for to immediately jump to that section! Good luck, Tenno!

ASH
Spoiler

Total Grind:

4/5

Prerequisites:

'Rising Tides' quest and the Empyrean location Pluto.

'The Duviri Paradox' quest is required for acquisition from the Circuit.

Acquisition:

Railjack, which is unlocked via the 'Rising Tides' quest. Your Railjack can be upgraded and modded to higher levels by just playing and unlocking Intrinsics and new mods. From Survival, Rotation A or Defense, Rotation A. He also drops from Railjack Exterminate and Volatile.

He has an 13.33% chance for neuroptics, systems, and chassis in Survival and Defense, and 4.82%-4.88% in Exterminate and Volatile.

Ash Systems: Venus Proxima
Ash Neuroptics: Neptune Proxima
Ash Chassis: Pluto Proxima

His blueprint is found in the Market or as a daily login reward.

Ash is available from the Circuit in Duviri during Week 3 rewards.

Tips:

I suggest doing Survival and just leveling your Necramechs to get those maxed, or bring some low-level weapons to level. Do some other things while you're at it because Survivals take a bit of time. Defense often takes longer because the Corpus get stuck on the map used (even with a speed-Nova).

History:

Ash was released in 2012, as one of the original eight frames.

History:

Atlas was released in 2015.

This requires Sedna. While farming Saryn, you may get two systems. Use one for Saryn, and the other for Chroma. He also requires Ember Neuroptics (Saturn), Frost Chassis (Ceres), and Volt Neuroptics (Clan Dojo).

History:

GRENDEL
Spoiler

Total Grind:

4/5

Prerequisites:

Arbitrations unlocked.

Acquisition:

His component blueprints are dropped from the three exclusive Europa missions unlocked from the Arbitration Honor vendor in Relays, which cost 25 Vitus Essence each. The items are called Grendel Part Locators. These exclusive missions have a 100% drop rate of his parts; however, they are highly difficult and call upon skill instead of blowing stuff up. All mods are disabled, along with your Operator, Gear items, and Focus abilities. These are the missions you must complete:

Grendel Systems Locator: 800 Cryotic Excavation
Grendel Neuroptics Locator: 20-minute Survival
Grendel Chassis Locator: 10-wave Defense

His blueprint is found in the Market or as a daily login reward.

Grendel is not available from the Circuit in Duviri due to not having a Prime variant.

Tips:

For the above information, that's if you're doing it yourself. You can also pair with someone who already has a Grendel Part Locator, and it will not cost you anything. Thus, you can farm him without settings foot in Arbitrations at all. Keep an eye on Recruiting channel, if you don't want to spend time in Arbitrations. It's a good idea to have a team, anyways, including Warframes like Frost or Limbo to protect the objectives and Trinity or Harrow for healing.

His blueprint is gained for completion of the 'Chains of Harrow' quest.

Tips:

For his systems, get a good team and rush the Defection on Phobos. For his neuroptics, just run the Spy mission Pago, Kuva Fortress a couple times with a decent stealth frame. For the chassis, you should have a couple hundred by now if you are farming his other parts. If you need Kuva, then just run the Kuva Survival to Rotation C a couple times.

Note: Prime releases are often two males, then two females. These lists are showing that; however, the order could swap. For example, Lavos and Sevagoth could swap places. However, Gauss and Protea have a very little chance to swap places.

Note: All above with a single Prime weapon will most likely receive another Prime weapon, however it is currently unnamed. I only put their signature weapons above, since those have been Primed in the past.

This is great. Sure you can use the wiki, but this lags less and has no ads.

Thanks! That's mostly my goal with this. Wiki is nice, but like you said, it can be a bit annoying and doesn't have it all in one spot.

For Chroma, you wrote "Senda" instead of "Sedna". I'm normally not one to nitpick spelling errors, but that one might be genuinely confusing for a new player.

For Styanax, Rebecca has said that currently the plans are not to have his parts drop from the Archon fights, but from "playable Kahl things" (source).

Difficulty to Obtain:

A number from one to ten, stating how hard it is to get this frame in my opinion.
1-2 = Practically free
3-5 = Just a boss, a couple times
6-7 = Quest
8-9 = Grind
10 = Feels Impossible

Could you give us some more info why you (or someone else) think it's that kind of difficulty?

1 being "clan stuffs" is understandable.

However others are little bit random. For example Gyre for me were horrible to get, even worse than Grendel. It was horrible RNG. Grendel on other hand is just difficult.... or just boring depending on frame. Harrow isn't too much harder than Gyre for me. Or Caliban having afair 60-80 level bounties while some bounties being VERY difficult for me (e.g. Cetus - protect the camp)

I swapped the 1-10 to 1-5, reason being that is should be less 'random'. Now, the numbers are more like 'groups'. 1 = Free, 2 = Boss, 3 = Quest, 4 = Bounties, 5 = Other grinds. Also please do note, these numbers (now as groups) are also not based on your RNG. Some people could get each Gyre part first try, while others struggle for hundreds of tries. Hopefully this is easier!

Except now I can't Read it on Dark Theme Mode....

Make The Text Colourless so Everyone can Read it. 👀....

First, I'm on dark theme mode as well and can read it fine? (It turns white, colors invert black/white and vice versa for me)

Second, no idea how to make them colorless, if you can explain a bit further? Looked a bit and can't find any way to do so... or I'm just too tired right now to find it.

*Note: Not sure if Forums has an automatic dark theme or you're using a third party one, but I'm using Dark Reader on Extensions. Works fine for me.

So, since I have no idea and you don't either, can't swap colors to something easily readable in the Forums Dark Mode (Yea, I found it. It has a dark gray background and text is still black, I see what you mean.)

If you want to try, you can go to Google/*yourPrefferedSearchEngineHere* Extensions and search around for a Dark Mode. I've only ever used Dark Reader (like I said above) for it, and it swaps all black to white and white to black, other colors also swap to be seeable still. It's also toggleable on specific websites if you only want it on the Forums.

If you don't know where Extensions are, just search *yourPrefferedSearchEngineHere* Extensions. Same place you may have gotten an add blocker of some kind.

I don't know why your first post and your response post are different, but the first post is indeed black text on gray.

Black text?

Black text?

Try this:

Highlight your post, then select "Automatic"

That's how I changed my "Black text?" to the proper color for dark mode. Wonder if it will look right in default theme.

Yeah! Looks correct:

P.S. If you didn't know, Ctrl+A will highlight all of your text in the edit box. I know you wrote A LOT of text in your post.

I rewrote the first tab (Information one) and checked that in my Dark Mode, normal, and Forums Dark Mode. With all three the colors match up. However, I'm not going to rewrite the whole thing at this point in time. I set the rest of it to Automatic. Checked it with all three types as well, and it is readable. in Forums Dark mode it's actually the easiest to read I'd say. Normal, light gray is a bit annoying but it's what its set as on Automatic. That would only change if I rewrote it.

TL;DR

Should be better, I swapped to Automatic, and it seems to work.

GRENDEL
Difficulty to Obtain:

5/5

Prerequisites:

All nodes completed.

First, "All nodes completed" is technically inaccurate for a variety of reasons, chief among them that only the player who starts the mission needs to have a Grendel Part Locator; every other member of their squad can come along for free, regardless of their progress in the game.

Which pertains to the second thing I wanted to add for the Tips section: While obtaining the Grendel Part Locators seems like a daunting chore, once you have them the more abstract challenge is finding a group willing to do these missions so you can get your reward.  I've found that many players are not concerned about doing anything along the lines of keyshares, they just want to finish the missions with any group who is skilled enough and willing.  So most players can probably save themselves the hassle of farming Arbitrations if they just keep an eye on Recruitment chat and are ready to offer a helping hand.  Any team will be happy to have a frame like Trinity on-hand to provide energy for the squad, or a defensive frame like Frost to protect the objective.

Source: I have made 2 Grendels and never purchased a Grendel Part Locator.

I removed his old Tips section and updated with your information. I farmed Grendel alone, myself, so had legit no idea (even though I had done quick research to check if it's a must). Now, it explains what you said along with healing/defensive frames. Hope that's a bit better!

HARROW
Difficulty to Obtain:

5/5

Prerequisites:

'Chains of Harrow' quest.

Acquisition:

His component blueprints are dropped from three different spots:

Harrow Systems: 15% from Rotation C and 6% from Rotation B Defection missions

Harrow Neuroptics: 16.67% from Rotation A and 12% from rotation C on the Spy MIssion Pago, Kuva Fortress

Harrow Chassis: 3% chance to drop from Void Fissure enemies

His blueprint is gained for completion of the 'Chains of Harrow' quest.

Tips:

For his systems, get a good team and rush the Defection on Phobos. For his neuroptics, just run the Spy missions a couple times with a decent stealth frame. For the chassis, you should have a couple hundred by now if you are farming his other parts.

History:

Harrow was released in 2017.

Harrow System and Neuroptics also Drops on Taveuni (Kuva Survival) now 👀....

OBERON
Difficulty to Obtain:

5/5

Prerequisites:

Veil Proxima unlocked.

Acquisition:

His component blueprints are dropped from the Derelicts located in three Railjack Proximas. They are marked with a white waypoint once you have the Intrinisic Rank Piloting Rank 5.

Oberon Systems: 10% from Earth Proxima Derelict
Oberon Neuroptics: 10% from Grineer Veil Proxima Derelict
Oberon Chassis: 10% from Saturn Proxima Derelict

His blueprint is found in the Market or as a daily login reward.

Tips:

Just by doing missions in the three mentioned locations above you may be able to get him. Especially if you stick to doing Derelicts every Empyrean mission as well. Also, by Grineer Veil Proxima, I mean the few missions to the right of the Veil Proxima. All in the middle and to the left are Corpus nodes.

History:

Oberon was released in 2013

But here's The The Thing.... Earth and Saturn Proxima don't have Derelicts 🤔..... Soooooo ?

I updated Harrow's tab to represent that. Once again, I completely forgot about that way because *you know* farmed him the other way myself, a while back. Thanks for the reminder!

I replaced Derelicts with Points of Interest, so it's a bit less confusing. Points of Interest are marked with the white dots once you get Pilot Rank 5.

Also went through and swapped some mistakes I had made in the first copy. Plenty of grammar and spelling mistakes taken care of. Steam version is yet to get this treatment, should do it soon enough.

I'm maxed on on Intrinsics and I've never seen a White Marker on Earth & Saturn Proxima but I have gotten Oberon from there👀....

Hmm... odd. If I recall correctly, Points of Interest include Secondary objectives (When you have two yellow markers)

Veil has Derelicts, Earth & Saturn have Skirmishes which are two objectives. I updated the text to be more specific.

Edit 1.2 (8/12/22):

-Updated Oberon's tab with Points of Interest

-Updated Grendel's section with new tips

-Fixed grammar on Grendel, Garuda, Harrow, Gara, Equinox, Ivara, Khora, Octavia, Oberon, and the End tabs

-Fixed spelling on Ember, Ash, Prime, and Information tabs

-Updated text color to match Forums Dark Mode (Forums only)

Changed it, thank you.

I looked up and garuda drops from low tier(1,2,3) SU bounties. Works the same way as gara farm, except with SU bounties
