Mod of the day

You can already transmute mods which selects a random mod. Visit the mod station in your Orbiter and try it out (costs like 30k credits or something). There's your mod of the day.

You can get free (credit wise) transmutations with transmute cores sold by Simaris.

Granted this excludes primed mods and some other special mods...

Mod transmutations aren't expensive for any Mastery Rank over 5. It's 4 mods (of which we have literally a 4-digit number of unique ones, not even including duplicates) and a decent-leveled-mission's amount of creds.

Mod of the Day would pick from any mod which, again, there is literally 1000s of, and because of the nature of sign-in rewards, it'd be given at random intervals as a result. 24, 48, 168 hours with no mod drop, hours that could be used either farming for mods or farming credits to transmute them.

It's significantly cheaper to transmute than it is to pay 100,000 credits for a mod.

I'll one up you... how about daily tribute potentially rewards a mod on login? That's actually free, though it's not one mod per day.
