amicha2 8
On the Customize Key Bindings panel (that you can access as Customize game settings | CONTROLS | Customize Key Bindings), there are several binding names related to POWER. Under English UI they are labeled as follows: Power A Power B Power C Power D Next Power Previous Power Use Selected Power and under Japanese UI they are アビリティAを選択 アビリティBを選択 アビリティCを選択 アビリティDを選択 次のアビリティ 前のアビリティ 選択したアビリティ発動 The first four translations (i.e., those for "Power X") are problematic. When a player pushes a key bound to "Power X", the power X is selected and used at the same time. When a player pushes a key bound to "Next Power" or "Previous Power", the next or previous power is selected but is not used. Although the English labels are vague on the point that "Power X" is to select and use while "Next/Previous Power" is only to select, but the labels are not wrong. The Japanese labels for "Power X", on the other hand, contain an explicit word "選択" meaning "to select", misleading users that these functions are for selection only. The Japanese labels for "Next/Previous Power" back up the misunderstanding, because they don't contain the word "選択" and they are for selection only. So, the Japanese labels for "Power X" should at least be "アビリティX", so that the Japanese labels are vague in a same way as English labels and contain no false. If DE thinks that Japanese translation should be more specific than English UI, adding "選択" in the labels for "Next/Previous Power" may be a good idea, i.e., 次のアビリティを選択 前のアビリティを選択
