My Lich stole my Archon Shard

I spent the better part of like 40 minutes doing all the hunt missions just for my Lich to steal the shard. I am absolutely livid.

They can take Sortie rewards so this isn't really anything new. Just go hunt them down.

Sounds like you have to put your Lich... into a ditch. 

As in kill them.

Whenever I think about picking up a Lich, I remember that the "big payoff" at the end is just all the loot I would have had if I'd just played the game normally without a Lich.

liches have been around for years now, if you haven't worked out that you should kill them before running a mission on their planet, it's your own fault.

which reminds me, I need motivation to do my lich, so I'm fine if he steals it: he's only bringing his inevitable demise closer.

Happened to me! got a nice shard, only for it to be taken by a Lich I forgot about! That's totally on me and I went to hunt it as soon as I was done with the Archon. 

I was very mad eyebrows though.
