VoidShell - small AO details affect material

Excalibur, Styanax and Volt have high detail AO looks nicelly perfect, but the frames below have some dark smudges (Nova's Chest and Rhino's Thighs) and some flaws in the material (Wukong doesn't apply gloss).

I think these spots are caused by the AO texture generator based on low resolution parallax occlusion mapping textures. in this case the AO textures must be created with high resolution POM textures and then reduced to the proper size.

Another way to fix AO would be to do it manually (ok that's a lot of work) gradient vectors drawn over the POM template.

Basically I think the idea of the material is to completely replace the function of organic textures so these AO should not work as organic detail textures. All materials are very cool and unbelievable but unfortunately not all players like to gild fashion.
