We are excited to invite all artists, illustrators and Captura artists alike, to create inky illustrations or capture in-game images that are based on a month full of Warframe-related prompts! You may participate in both; we were so inspired by the Captober event created by the community's Captura artists! Check out the Captura thread here How to participate: Submit one Warframe ink drawing a day for all of October based on the official 2022 Tennotober prompts. Only images shared to this thread will count as official Tennotober submissions. Share your illustrations with fellow Tenno in this thread! Whether you’re an experienced artist or you’re newer to drawing, please feel free to participate. Tennotober is a great way to improve your skills and participate in Warframe’s amazing fanart community. Once you have posted in the megathread, please continue to edit your post to add more illustrations throughout the month instead of creating new comments. Mark each illustration as "spoiler" to separate each day! For those that participate in this event consistently (at least 5 or more eligible drawings), keep an eye out for a very special Tennotober treat in your Warframe in-game inbox later in 2022! You may also see the Tennotober treat if you submit 5 Captura images and 3 drawings. Warframe Tennotober Guidelines: Illustrations must be drawn with ink. Happy to have the chance to participate another year :D Day 1: Stranger - Continuous, non-intersecting line Spoiler Just like previous years, I'll be doing random art challenges--wherein no sketching or redos are allowed--in combination with the daily prompts. For this day, it's dat boi drawn with a continuous, (mostly T_T) nonintersecting line. Day 2: Festival - Drawing from memory (no reference) Spoiler No reference, memory only, final destination. Starring one of my favorite ephemeras! Day 3: Knight - 1cm² size maximum Spoiler ~1cm² canvas drawing of a helmet reminiscent of templar knights. One day I'll get Harrow Prime Dx Day 4: Hood - Using non-dominant hand Spoiler Revenant! Done in celebration of Prime coming soon, plus he's my main and I adore his deluxe skin. I might've forgotten to do the non-dominant hand challenge first so here's two drawings :') Day 5: Anime - Eyes closed Spoiler I tried to draw an amogus-eyed magical anime girl Yareli with my eyes closed. Not sure if she's still recognizable lol. Day 6: Twin - Redraw another user's art in my style Spoiler My self-imposed no sketching rule has proven to be the most painful thing in the world lol. Full disclosure, I chose CalamityDeath's wonderful submission (page 3) to try and redraw in my style & with my character. Day 7: Horse - Draw with pen in mouth Spoiler H.. horse... Day 8: Clock - Continuous line (reference only, no looking down at drawing) Spoiler What even is this. Spoiler It's Vome/Fass! Day 9: Warden - Digital, mouse only (no line tools) Spoiler Sniper Crewman! Day 10: Paradox - Negative space only Silhouettes only Spoiler I still didn't quite follow the challenge lmao, art is hard! Day 11: Ribbon - Only trace around parts of your hand Spoiler I'd say this is a good example of why it's bad to do things last-minute lol (technically still 3 minutes left, but I didn't want to risk taking any longer and rolling over to day 12). Pictured is a syandana + ephemera. Day 12: Care - Mimic art style from another user Spoiler Inspired by Kepler-4's absolutely gorgeous sketches. Their use of lighting and expression is just *chefs kiss*, it was really fun to try out! Day 13: Alliance - Straight lines only (lines can't be too short) Spoiler Just a quick doodle before I gotta head out. Had to Google this one since I wasn't sure what to draw. Day 14: Pink - Two-tone (shading only) Spoiler My Styanax is a very glittery pink/purple thanks to the amazing Bloodshed Sigil. Front colored baby pink and back colored baby blue for maximum gel pen! Day 15: Strength - 15 lines only Spoiler Had to get a pink Rhino in there! Also this may be more than 15 lines but don't worry about it. Day 16: Comfort - Napkin canvas Spoiler I remember one night I couldn't sleep because a specific character's voice/inflection got stuck in my head. After a while I finally realized it was from this conversation! Almost got the cursive text right, but muscle memory kept kicking in so it reads a bit weird... "This future ends so well for her." Day 17: Unity - Smartphone only (finger art) Spoiler Hm. Hm hmm hm hmm hmm hm hmm... Day 18: Void - Two-handed symmetry Spoiler Gee, I wonder which hand I draw better with. Day 19: Amphitheater - Calligraphy (asemic writing OR word cloud) Spoiler Done with vaguely-related words pulled from the Wiki! I'm still not quite sure what this style of art is called, since word cloud implies a weighted list which isn't the case here... I probably won't do every day, just the ones I like, but I hope you enjoy these all the same. They will be fast-ish and painterly, with a tablet in digital media. I'm using PainterSai with the brush and watercolor tools and trying to only use black and white. Due to time constraints the drawings will most likely all be quick ballpoint pen sketches. Day 1 - Stranger Spoiler The Drifter when we first "met" him in-game. Day 2 - Festival Spoiler Kept it simple on this one. Went with the ornament from the ship decorations shown in the last devstream. Day 3 - Knight Spoiler I've always felt that Excalibur had a very knightly feel to him... Day 4 - Hood Spoiler Trying to keep these all pretty simple. Went with the Zariman hood. Day 5 - Anime Spoiler Had a hard time with this one. Ended up doing the Drifter "anime style", which I've never done before. I think it turned out okay. Just ignore the ink smears. Day 6 - Twin Spoiler Went with the operator and the man in the wall. Different expressions to show different personalities. Day 7 - Horse Spoiler The kaithe was the only real "horse" I could think of. Day 8 - Clock Spoiler Okay, so Konzu isn't exactly a clock... but he does always know when it's time for early lunch Day 9 - Warden Spoiler Didn't really know what to do with this prompt because apparently, I'm not as creative as I thought I was. So have a Corpus Warden. Day 10 - Paradox Spoiler The severed hand from the Duviri Paradox... Day 11 - Ribbon Spoiler Quick scribble of the conquera ribbon Day 12 - Care Spoiler Here's a poorly drawn VERD-IE Day 13 - Alliance Spoiler An Ostron shaking hands with a Solaris worker. A little uninspired but at least I got some practice drawing hands. Yes, I made the Solaris worker's tattoo pink. Day 14 - Pink Spoiler The conquera syandana was the first thing to come to mind since I wear it every day. Day 15 - Strength Spoiler Hopefully everyone can recognize Hildryn's arm flexing. Day 16 - Comfort Spoiler Rhino comforting one of his many kubrows. Day 17 - Unity Spoiler An Operator and their Warframe... Day 18 - Void Spoiler Wasn't sure how to draw the Void... so I drew a void trace instead Day 19 - Amphitheater Spoiler The Duviri Amphitheater Day 20 - Kahl Spoiler Just realized I forgot to draw his eye in... oops. Also, realized the way I drew his lower lip makes it look like he's sticking his tongue out... more oops Day 21 - Angels Spoiler I probably should have spent more time on this one. I really like the design of the void angels. Day 22 - Mask Spoiler Thought about doing the Grineer mask but picked this one instead. Day 23 - Vanish Spoiler Hope people can tell it's Loki Day 24 - Wolf Spoiler The wolf frame. Not sure I got it quite right. It was very difficult for me to draw. Day 25 - Styanax Spoiler Another poorly drawn picture... and yes I wasn't sure how to draw his shield arm so I just blacked it out... Day 26 - Chrysalith Spoiler It's Quinn... and I just realized I forgot to draw all the void stuff on his face... oh, well... Day 27 - Queen Spoiler Keeping with the theme of poorly drawn... Day 28 - Veil Spoiler If you ignore the smudges and other mistakes it doesn't look half bad. Day 29 - Whisper Spoiler This didn't come out as I'd hoped. It's supposed to be one of the "child" orbs from the Zariman, but I was too heavy handed with the energy and it looks more like growths. Oh, well. Lovely to see you all artwork! ^^ __________________Day 01: Stranger - My first playthrough in this quest was absolutely awesome. That moment of the strangers faced each other was epic for me maybe I interpreted 'Stranger' weird but yeah... this scene was the first thing I thought of. Spoiler __________________Day 02: Festival - This should be some kind of Halloween festival. But as I'm Thai, I thought of 'Dog Days Tactical Alert' event that resemble my national festival, Songkran day. So... yeah, this was fun to draw btw. (Changed some gun design to be more like a water gun toy in my hometown) (edit : ouch... I can't complete in 2nd oct. pls forgive me) Spoiler __________________Day 03: Knight - My thought will be placed in spoiler from now on. Spoiler - Love the look of shinning 'Knight' armor found only in Gara prime and deluxe skin. Might do some traditional for some of the days too. Please enjoy and I hope every artist has lots of fun! Day 1: Stranger Spoiler The Stranger's Hood cosmetic was the first thing to come to mind and I thought it fit the spooky theme well. Day 2: Festival Spoiler I thought of Nekros entertaining Ostrons and other tenno with his shadow abilities during festivals, like a spooky puppet show but more lighthearted. Day 3: Knight Spoiler I always loved the Arbiters of Hexis designs, so I did an ink drawing of one of them as a knight with minimal colors. Day 4: Hood (my personal favorite) Spoiler Ivara's hood is one of my favorite default frame designs, along with a fantastic color scheme. Day 5: Anime Spoiler I imagined Mag as a cool sci-fi anime character since her parts in the updated introductory cinematic are super dope! Day 6: Twin Spoiler Wukong's celestial twin can sometimes be in the way, so I thought this would fit that well. Day 7: Horse Spoiler Excited to see the Kaithe in-game when Duviri drops! Stranger (Based on how I restarted the game from scratch a few months ago and both the characters were strangers to me and how they were strangers to each other in the intro as well.) This is my first tennotober I hope I can continue to draw for it! c: Spoiler 2. Festival With how the last two weeks went for me I decided to draw some kind of festival for the dead to remember the two I lost. It felt fitting although I couldn't find too much references.
