This year, we are expanding our accepted submission by including Captura art. We were inspired by the incredible community-run Captober campaign last year and we are happy to launch an official DE Tennotober for Captura this year! Players can participate in both Tennotober-Captura and Captober campaigns this year as they wish! Only images shared to this thread will count as official Tennotober submissions. We are excited to invite all artists, illustrators and Captura artists alike, to create inky illustrations or capture images in-game that are based on a month full of Warframe-related prompts! You may participate in both: Check out the illustration-based Tennotober thread here How to participate: Share one theme-based Captura a day for all of October based on the official 2022 Tennotober prompts in this thread. Share your Captura images with fellow Tenno in this thread! Whether you’re an experienced Captura artist or you’re newer to creating in-game images, please feel free to participate. Tennotober and Captober are great communities that will support you in improving your skills and participating in Warframe’s amazing fanart community. Once you have posted in the megathread, please continue to edit your post to add more Captura images throughout the month instead of creating new comments. Mark each illustration as "spoiler" to separate each day! For those that participate in this event consistently (at least 10 or more eligible Captura images), keep an eye out for a very special Tennotober treat in your Warframe in-game inbox later in 2022! Decided on something you might see at a festival... Day 3 - Knight Spoiler When I read "knight" the first thing I thought of was Vauban in his Citadel skin Day 4 - Hood Spoiler Had a little trouble deciding what I wanted to do for this, but settled on Ash Shroud... Day 5 - Anime Spoiler Who in Warframe is more anime than Yareli? Day 6 - Twin Spoiler Kind of regret not getting more creative with this, but Wukong was the first thing to come to mind. Day 7 - Horse Spoiler A very disgruntled Oberon disagrees with this... A piece of the story, a piece that went to more, and the section of the show where the villain appears. Day 3 - Knight Spoiler Many say the Grineer know no honour, poisoning the forest's to grow more of their twisted kind. But none would be more agreeing to that sentiment then one of Nature's own denizens. The Knight of Earth. Day 4 - Hood Spoiler There are many unknowns within our boundless realm, but it is always a worthy choice to avoid those who wear the hoods of pure silver...and possess a chitinous carapace across their body. Day 5 - Anime (late) Spoiler One of the most popular form of animation types in the known world, and so easily replicated in the Origin System. A shame, really. The Orokin made so many of these suits, yet most of them never even got through the First Dream. Day 6 - Twin Spoiler Twins. A curious existence to say the least, two individuals yet almost the same in every aspect. In some ways, maybe Day and Night can be classed as twins, both a function of time. Both grew their own personality, yet they are almost the same. Day 7 - Horse Spoiler A mighty steed of the paradoxical plains of Duviri, such a grotesque yet glorious creature of strewn flesh and bone. Now only seen by the people as paintings on the desolate walls of ruins long since abandoned. Day 8 - Clock Spoiler Khra (Time) - To cosmic forms from tangent planes. We end as we began May the ones who have been lost to time rest well in their eternal grave, and if they do come back from their eternal slumber. May the Void send them back to their grave. Day 9 - Warden Spoiler I thought I've seen it all, being the Warden of this blasted place in the clouds of Saturn. I've only heard of the Tenno, these monsters in a person's body. But, this one...this one is different to the ones I've heard of... For the Queens. Day 10 - Paradox Spoiler A self-contradictory statement. Alive, but also dead. Left, but also Right. Now, but also forever ago and yet hasn't come to pass. The Void is but one of these curious paradoxes, and the Duviri Plains is one that fits all that have been said here. Day 11 - Ribbon (late) Spoiler To all those who suffer through this horrible disease, although it is not much, I pass my prayers onto you with this ribbon. May you prevail victorious over this damned enemy of ours. Day 12 - Care Spoiler We, the community, care. We care about the disease you are battling. We care about the research helping to destroy it. We all care, and we all lift together, Tenno. Day 13 - Alliance Spoiler A vast alliance of hundreds of thousands of people, collectively trying their best to help. Once again, We all Lift Together (I'm using the basic Warframe looks, since what we're increasing awareness of can affect everyone, no matter how average or different you are) Day 14 - Pink Spoiler We wear pink to spread awareness to those who suffer. We wear this colour with pride. Day 15 - Strength Spoiler One lone individual may not be able to make a difference, but together we can help those who need it. Together, we have Strength Day 16 - Comfort (Late) Spoiler Sometimes all that one needs is some comfort, maybe a laugh and a good time. Hopefully those who suffer can one day look back, one day, and feel comfort of having won. Day 17 - Unity Spoiler All of us are but a part, together we are a whole, all united. All as One Day 18 - Void Spoiler Void. Usually an expanse, whether large or small, that is filled with absolute nothingness. Yet, this portal led me to somewhere. Shall we begin? Day 1: Stranger Spoiler Long night in Plains. Feet hurt. No breath. Beast roars and hurts our ears. Rain soaking through amour. Pale light fly in trees, wounds if gets close. Lure lights towards us to lure beast, Vay Hek says. Lights, screams, rain, pain... Jitegg thinks not good idea. Puts troop at risk. Vay Hek not care, so Jitegg must. Jitegg hate night in Plains. Lights. Screams. Wet. Too much stress. Jitegg see, sometimes. Not beast, not lights. Face. Person Jitegg not meet before. Can't see long - they see Jitegg, they gone. Quick. Men do not believe they saw face person. Think Plains getting to Jitegg. Jitegg think so too. Jitegg think saw something in tent. Someone. Someone Jitegg never meet before. Day 2: Festival Spoiler On those cold nights, be they of Naberus or those of our souls, there is a desire for warmth. A guiding glow for souls lost in the dark. A reminder of our blazing, golden father who will soon return to break the twilight for those with the strength to bear it. On this night, where spirits of both dead and living are left to wander, we provide that warmth; Food, to fill empty stomachs. Fictions, to assure frightened minds that there's nothing to fear. Fire, to serve as beacon and respite for the heart. The month is young and there is ample time to prepare for that most chilling nocturne. Some may be more enthused to celebrate than others - this one in particular has taken 'that which warms the heart' to, well, heart. A fool for certain, but with a glow that may guide lost souls to one that is jubilant and well-intentioned. And with that, the festival may begin. (Not sure my Grendels always seem partial to eating fire...) Day 3: Knight Spoiler Log Entry 8, Year AO 2035 Didn't expect to find too much in these Derelicts. It's always the same - find a wayward tower or ship, pick up a few promising signals here and there, get rewarded by spores and deathtraps. I'm sure that I'm never the first either; wouldn't find so many Infested wretches howling for death otherwise. I'd appreciate the time to explore and mull over my poor decisions if not for that. Void only knows how Maroo puts up with it trying to find her Ayatans... Think I struck it lucky this time though; whoever got here before me was smart enough to clear the Infested, but apparently too stupid (or too dead, more likely) to pick up the bounties behind the boils and tumours! Oh, it's not much. Never is. That said, if these things are based on actual Old War tech as I assume, they could fetch a mean price from even the most tight-fisted Corpus. Even if not, they or some Tenno schmuck would appreciate the decorative value. They have a... peculiar affinity for the Orokin stuff. Can't say I blame them, it just always seemed garish to me. Does look like it could pack a whole platoon of Grineer into a box, if it could. Would be impressive for an overblown decoration. Looking back, I don't think I ever found whoever came before me, though. None of the dead Infested I trudged through to get here look like any Grineer, Corpus or what-have-you I've seen skulking around where they shouldn't. They look older. Less human.
