Ideas for DE!

Add real buffs to armor sets and sandans (all values are conditional and require testing)

Armor Sets

Example: Shoulder pad +2% each (to the armor of the warframe) , Kneecap +2% each (to the armor of the warframe) , Bib +2% (to the armor of the warframe) , Armor Set (5 parts x 2% + 2% bonus), parts from different sets give +10% armor in total, without bonus value ( % of armor of the warframe from the total amount)

Sandans

Example: By installing a sandan on a warframe you can choose one of the bonuses in the form of ( aerodynamics, parkour speed, running speed, gliding, gravity, etc.) all bonus effect values conditionally from 10% to 15%. The bonus is valid for all sandans, but disappears if the sandan is not equipped

P.S. mods that add jump shot speed and status effects can be combined with the status ephemera, or completely remove the mods and each ephemera add similar effects and buffs.

Yes, you are right, but

Mystic helmets take away a slot under the mystic, and affect the appearance, this infringes on the players in terms of customization, the changes that I proposed are not significant and logical (armor, oddly enough, gives a small % to the real armor frames), it is a nice bonus for both end gamers and beginners, the only binding to the sets that will give a bonus 2-3% per set armor, but it does not break the game

There isnt much of a point to it. Better off just adding mod slots or a new mechanic like archon shards than tying buffs to cosmetics. Like i might want less gravity on 1 warframe and not the other, but i still  like the look of the syandana on both warframes. My build ends up gettimg messed up because i want to look good.

This is why DE trashed that idea of putting buffs on cosmetics a long time ago

Sure, it may not break the game...but then again I don't want to be forced to equip syandana and armor parts on all my frames and mess up my fashion just to hit a few breakpoints and get some benefits.
Either that, or the bonuses are so small and have absolutely zero impact in any way....in which case why add them in the first place?


The problem with this idea, and why DE removed arcane helmets and stopped arcanes from being tied to your syandana (that did use to be a thing), is because the user is faced with a choice:
Either A) Gimp themselves and have less power, but keep their cosmetics how they like it
OR B) Equip the ass-ugly cosmetics that offer the best stats with no other way around it.

 

DE stepped away from that, and for a very good reason.  And I really doubt that DE will ever go back to that system.

 

 

Beyond that though it adds a flavor of Pay-To-Win.  After all how many free Syandana/Armor sets are their that players can get access to?
Meaning if they don't pay real money they are missing out on stats.
That's just no good for anyone.

Вот почему DE давным-давно отказались от идеи накладывать баффы на косметику.

Проблема с этой идеей и с тем, почему DE удалила тайные шлемы и остановила привязку тайных предметов к вашей сандане (которая раньше была вещью), заключается в том, что пользователь сталкивается с выбором:
Либо A) Ослабить себя и иметь меньше силы , но оставить их косметику такой, как им нравится,
ИЛИ B) Надеть уродливую косметику, которая предлагает лучшие характеристики, и никак иначе.

 

DE отошел от этого, и на то была очень веская причина. И я очень сомневаюсь, что DE когда-нибудь вернется к этой системе.

 

 

Помимо этого, он добавляет вкус Pay-To-Win. В конце концов, сколько бесплатных наборов Санданы/Доспехов есть у игроков?
Это означает, что если они не платят реальные деньги, они упускают статистику.
Это просто никому не нужно.

I agree, just considered similar options, about mystic helmets I said almost the same thing and tried to offer versatility

Yeah its not the versatility thats the problem, its wanting to customize the look of your warframe anyway you like, with no gameplay downsides thats the issue.

Like some people might not even want to wear a syndana or armor sets because they think the frame looks better without, not exactly pleasant knowing youre sacrificing power for doing that
