The music on the login screen (Lua's Prey Theme?) is absolutely beautiful

Title.

It gives me shivers everytime I hear it, most of the time I can't login before the loop is complete.

It conveys so much emotions that contrast with the usual raging epic battle that Warframe is. It adds to the universe a full layer of mystery, ancient, lonely sadness tinged with an almost extinguished hope... It reminds of the best quest moments of the game.

I just wanted to say that. Thank you for this music. :)

Edit: could you add it to the Somachord please?

Edit 2 (by participants request): Could you add ALL login screen musics to the Somachord? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm honestly one of those who is getting tired of the login music cycled every update and no longer being able to hear it in-game. What is the point of all that work if the music might not stay in-game very long?

Yeah, I wish all arrangements like this were automatically added to the Somaccord, because a lot of them are gems.

Understandable, but I think Lua has a different soundtrack than infested derelict (Deimos)

1. I agree, the Lua's Prey Theme is great, especially how that first choir note right at the start sounds just a bit like a wolf howl.

2. Yes please to adding previous login screen musics to the Somachord - isn't that where the track "The Profit" came from? They should do that more.

3. Can't remember if Lua uses the Deimos or the Void versions of the Orokin (non-)combat themes, but I do think it could use a remix/alt version for Lua, like how Deimos and Void themes are built on the same set of "base" soundtracks for combat/non-combat. (And then keep the Lua's Prey theme only for when you're standing in the Void Dax Zone, I think.)

I've been getting heavy HEAVY Armello vibes from it, so much that I launched Armello for the first time in years to see if it was the same tunes

I didn't know Armello. Thanks for sharing this reference.

I have never heard of Armello but will have to check it out, as I am always open to new types of music.  I was thinking it reminded me of a singer ( not sure about the spelling) called Diamanda Galas, who is famous for her screaming singing, which I know sounds like it would be terrible but its actually hypnotic and unique.   She has been a featured singer in several bands, one that comes to mind is Erasure, which she is featured in a few of their songs.

Anyway, I wanted to say I agree with the OP in that DE has done some fantastic work lately with sound and music design.  I love the Corpus ship tileset re-work especially the music that plays in the background reminds me of 80's pop music, almost Depeche Mode-ish sounding.   The Sevagoth Quest with the Pirate themed musical number was a masterpiece of musical theater and enjoyed it immensely!  The Zariman sound editing was spot on to fulfill the eerie creepy vibe that the Zariman Tileset encapsulates!  Every time I watch the videos of how they create the various sound effects in the game, I am amazed at the complexity and creativity that goes into them.  A shout out to the visual design as well as the Zariman is a testament to their skills!  Now if DE could just work on a few of the many bugs that have plagued Warframe for quite some time, it would help a long way at improving their Bugframe image!

Have a pleasant tomorrow!
