Private Message/ Trade Cat

Me and my friends can't private message each other or see each other in trade chat. Please fix this or Create an trade house already. I can't even make plat because idk if I'm getting private messages

I've been playing with a friend the past few days and noticed a similar problem on PC with private message/chat with two variations.

1. Private messages on my side show as sent (purple chat tab), friend does not receive them. Friend's private messages show as sent, I don't receive them. 
2. Private messages on my side show as sent, friend does not receive them. Friend's private messages can't send because the game says I'm offline when I'm online. I can still invite and be invited to parties, but I can't be private messaged.

I've tried /normal which turns off do not disturb and /online (which is not a valid command lol). My problem persists. The last time I recall private message working was about 2 days ago when I bought a riven. Since then I've been trying to trade and I thought I was being ghosted but after testing with my friend it appears I simply can't send or receive private messages. It's super annoying, please let me know if there's a fix!
