Low sound in game

For about a month I've installed Warframe from not the first time. It was good from few minutes of playing. When my friend wanted to open Discord and connect with him the main sound in Warframe just quieted down like for a half or more power. I was thinking that I've done something in Discord that makes quiet sounds in games but no, it was something in game that makes the sound quiet but the sounds in the game options were turn on max power. Also I have the same problem with sounds on websites.

I think its something windows does!

First idea, for if windows is detecting discord like a call:

1. click the start button
2. type "sound" and click on "Sound Settings"
3. scroll down to "Related Settings" and click on "Sound Control Panel"
4. Go to the "Communications" tab and fiddle around in there.

Another potential cause could be windows automatic sound normalisation:

1. do steps 1-3 from the previous one
2.  this time, dont click on "Communications", instead click on your default sound device in the "Playback" tab (the device with the big green tick)
3. click "Properties"
4. click on the "enhancements" tab
5. make sure "loudness equalisation" is unchecked

otherwise it might just be discord doing it:

1. open discord
2. click on the little gear wheel down the bottom next to your name
3. select "voice and video"
4. scroll down until you find "attenuation" and set it to 0%
