Nekros with Gloom on survival making pods drop slower

first of all sorry for my poorly english, i've noticed that when i use Nekros with gloom the drop chance of the oxygen pods thingy is really low, but when i use other build (tried xata's whisper) the drop chance is much higher, i dont think its for the amount of kills because there is not much diference on how fast am i killing them. can someone confirm if this is true or anyone is having the same issue? thanks and sorry for butchering your lenguage

What weapons do you use ?
Gloom slow down enemies, making you less likely to kill them with melee. If your melee weapon deal primarly slash damage, it's possible that your melee kills cut corpses and drop more resources from Nekros' Desecrate, which is how Gloom could negatively impact your life support drops from enemies.

i don't think that's the reason, i'm using the same loadout on both builds, mainly killing with phantasma, not using my melee.
